You are pretty much using the best printer out there in terms of reliability, print quality, low cost maintenance and abundance of parts. I've talked to a Mimaki tech recently and he thought the JV33 was better than any new Mimaki printer on the market now.

well the JV33 only has 1 head in it so there is nothing to align. I believe your test print is perfect, but wheres the yellow?.

There is an air purge valve for each color. Try air purging the black. Directions are in the operations manual. Can find with a google search.

Do u use the Instant One Media laminate for your vinyl as well? It can shrivel up if left in the hot sun over time(such as over the summer). It's only good for short term applications.

Are all 3 computers connected to the same internet router? Sometimes a router (wireless or not) can get a bug inside them and mess with any of the computers communications ports(such as changing security settings for USB, ethernet and more). The fix may be just a new router and /or completely...

I really don't think Triangle inks is the issue. Pretty much the same ink formulation as original OEM inks. You could try printing in 24 pass. It will print slow but should print with much better quality. Some printers end up with a gremlin inside them and can be almost impossible to fix.

I bought a used JV33 a while back and Nazdar inks were in it. They look great IMO

I noticed my latex printed stuff scratches easy when it first comes out, but when I try scratching it the next day after printing it barely leaves a mark. So I am assuming it is a curing issue.

yea download the jv3 160sp maintenance menu from a google search and go to page 97

i see a lot of deflective nozzles in the cyan head. Not sure if this is fixable. The funny thing is my cyan head on my jv3 does the same thing lol. Prolly need to replace the head.

The orange will give you a wider gamut of color. With the Mimaki firmware you can't just add the orange only, you have to add the light black as well. If I bought the machine I would definitely go with the light black and orange configuration, it will give you better print quality over most of...

I would think you need a new cap top. Get the OEM one as the generic Chinese one doesn't last very long.

I'd try a 30 min nozzle soak then a normal cleaning.

Just simply replace them one by one, then after they are all installed do an ink fill up.

SOunds like you need to replace the yellow and Magenta cap tops. I always keep back ups in stock just in case.
