I remember my old sales manager made a remark that went something like "why worry about them, they're just pennies"
And our accountant was going upstairs and he gave her a look like he wanted to throw his ledgers at her. But if hes like me, I need to
know where the money is going. And if youre...
I never used a wrap template. If you have a measuring tape you can design the wrap. What time frame are you looking at, I could write up a step by step and drop it in the tutorials section by tomorrow afternoon. I have been meaning to write the article up for a while now just hadn't had a real...
You could just use one of the estimation softwares they have availabe in the merchant members section. Or you could do it all per square foot as well once you calculate the cost per square foot of the ink. Usually you can go to a manufacturer website or support call and ask them how much yield...
Yeah it is overprint
Printer Controls > General Section > Use Custom Settings> Overprint: 2 (Times)
We also bump up the contrast in the color controls as well.
Some poeple do double sided prints with the reverse image on the other side, we never had to go to those lenghts to get a decent print...
We have the EL 65, had a couple problems with it but in our experience one was factory and the other was user error.
For us the first problem was the faulty step motor in the machine. There is a screw that attaches to the main sprocket for the motor. It has a tendency to come loose,
and that...
Do you have a large format laminator. Can you just apply a bit of premask over the already cut logo and run it through like this.
https://youtu.be/CtoBUN3KrVI?t=6m49s
Thats a sure way to get it on no bubbles. save a ton of time especially if you dont have to hand mount 120+ inches.
We had an application like that and used a facemount run through the laminator.
Though we had a completely clear piece of material and mounted it on the back.
You could essentially use the same technique and mount it on the front.
Run the back of the material with the facemount then mount it...
I'm no expert but I have fixed a few of ours before. I believe roland has an automatic system that turns on every few hours to pull ink through the head to avoid that. As long as secondary power is on. If you turn off the secondary power then every day is another dead pixel. For reference, one...
If I absolutely had to work with it, I would put it in an aluminum frame for 1 then probably do some sort of gold leafing after I took that old lettering off. Aside from being really freaking dangerous the marble looks really classy.
When we have too much money we tried to get ourselves sued every once in a while, to even things out lol. Falling marble seems like it would be a disaster for anyone underneath it. 25lb Slabs of rock that can cut you like a dagger. Great idea :ROFLMAO:
Some times not often we get in interior design contracts. This is some recent designs that hopefully we will be doing for the new casinos in the hotel on the island. These are just visualizations of their floor plan that I put together over the past 24hrs
Is there by any chance a book with all the basics of sign making for a beginner. We are currently in the process of training a new staff member but there is a lot of information and we need to give him a jumpstart that doesnt already assume that you know about signs. Is there like a basics...
I had an art forum that the same thing happened to. Its all these mom & pop SEO companies with their robots building backlinks for their clients. That can be stopped with a few adjustments to the forum software. The fact that they havent done that means they arnt really concerned and that would...
There is something called CreateAbid I'v used it to test it out. Its free to use with a paid version. It works, but it is in my opinion underdeveloped. The website looks very bland, like the starter kits you get when you buy a domain.
Creating software for a strictly retail enviroment is easy...
