In the ink window you can only see if reservoir is filled. OOI pops up if machine is applying power to recirc valve and pump (ink fill) but reservoir isn’t changing its filled-status after a while. Anything else doesn’t make sense in a logical way.
You just have an ink pump problem or main ink filter is blocked. Or recirculation valve is not working. Machine doesn’t know ink amount. If pump is running certain time and reservoir isn’t filled software reports end of ink
The above answer is completely correct. If you have installed the 257 ink in the proper way ink type should be set automatically with ink type specific voltage compensation and temperature. But you have to do the scanner alignment for good dot placement.
Or buy a Durst where you are able to select if it should print matt or glossy, also selectable for special areas...
But FB latex should be launched 2018, as far as I heard about. But you never now, HP is a marketing company. As long as there are rumors about, the market will wait with its...
I agree. Small text isn’t that sharp on Latex. So for small stickers it won’t be the solution. But for billboard / graphics it is the best. Odorless and reliable.
Checked your logs. It’s really a heater issue.
Check voltage provided to heater on reservoir (the brown rubber on the back side) Measure also temp on this block. Should be around 50*C. Enough cooling liqid ln reservoir?
But could also be a faulty temp sensor in printhead...
Create the log-files and send em through Wetransfer and provide the link here.
I’m pretty sure it’s not the lamp. I wold go for firewire cable, because you also have ink heater issues. Looks like communication issue.
Check also that you have a newer firmware installed. Older versions have a bug that recirculation is done to frequently for the „half“ reservoir of a 360. Then the small check filter for meniskus/purge might be filled with ink, blocks and meniscus isn’t working on this ink channel.
Never ever print with uv ink onto wearable textile. You can’t control how ink is cured in the fiber. And uncured uv ink is known for the risk of cancer.
Two possibilities: mixture of flush and ink or substrate issue.
Clean substrate partially with ipa and check if it’s still same. Then purge often or empty the reservoir and head to remove flush
