I like where these suggestions are going, and I appreciate the feedback. This is definitely in the "infancy" stages, and I am not about to make numerous revisions until I get a better feel for what will fulfill the customer's wishes and his actual needs. Much of what I do I do not post here...
I like that idea! I'm waiting to see where he stands on the lens idea. If he likes it I will take the time to refine it to look like it should. If not - I'm going to try that!
I agree. However, I sent him this first to get a feel for what he's thinking, and he said it was far too obvious. I'm still trying to figure out where he's at. That's why I'm posting here - in case I can't figure him out!
:thankyou:
What they are saying is "fun", but what they're thinking is probably not a good idea. Why is it "fun", what are they selling? Is this King Valley toy co., or...
Send them this. It's bad enough to get a reaction that will give you a good indication as to whether or not what they are thinking is...
I've used numerous stands from Creative Banner without problems with the stand or curling, and I've been using 15oz smooth double-sided banner vinyl in everything.
Let me put some weight into it. We don't need evidence if we strong arm the body and beak of the guy who doesn't have the spine it takes man up in a bold way.
Wish I did! I don't use one. It's just something I thought of and saw that they exist!
...I'd try this one I think

I thought I'd find all kinds of them internet searching, but not really. I need blank hard book covers. 5" x 7" or slightly larger, and only need to hold about 20 pages. I can print the pages, I only need the covers. I couldn't find much at all!
:thankyou:
I don't use a Roland. However, what pms color is a match? Make the element that color from the pantone library in Illy. Double-click the swatch in the pallete, and make it a process color rather than spot. See how it looks. I always just make 1" x 1" color block of it first so I can tweak it...
I usually convert the spot colors to process values to get around this. If necessary, I will make small test swatches of process to get a match, and then use those values for the swatches in the Illy file.
