That is a laminate. The Two-Way Vision is the clear film with white prisms which give you a bit of a 'fake white point' and looks really cool.
They also have Itac Clear which is optically clear and it has a silicon coating instead of adhesive. After years of being applied it will remove...
This is such a cool product and it will work on your latex. https://cgxusa.com/products/panorama-two-way-vision/ If you want a test roll, they are free but ask that you provide a UPS or FEdex number to cover the few bucks in freight. The adhesive is 'removable' but it won't come down or...
well call if you are still stuck. I also didn't answer your question. I tell people 120 is usually the sweet spot unless you are using an older Vutek or UV printer where you can really feel the uv ink texture...then I'd go to the max temp of 140 (if you have a Mistral).
The other thing to...
We sell the Vinyl EFX and they have a smooth and brushed aluminum finish for indoor and outdoor applications. Rolls come in as short as 30 feet and up to 150 feet. Next day delivery since you are so close to us. Let me know if you want pricing.
The curl is likely a result of too much tension on the laminate supply shaft. If it is hard to make the shaft spin with one hand, then you are doing it wrong. The temperature alone wouldn't cause any type of curl. You are more than welcome to call me if you want to talk it through. I'm a...
I've got some really cool window films you can print on. I've got some optically clear, "blurry clear", and even one with white prisms already in the film to give you a bit of a fake white point (and creates a bit of a backlit effect at night if the lights are left on).
Do you have white...
I sell the Colex units and they are well under $150,000. Made in New Jersey. I can arrange for an online demo and then they'll ship you the samples they cut overnight for you to touch and feel. If you want to go see them in person after that, then they'll pick up a flight for you to go to...
If your job is trailer sides and if they are flat, then you could save a small fortune by going with a polymeric calendared vinyl and laminate. A kit (with air egress) is going to be around $550 for 54"x150'. If you were to order 20 rolls of each you'd be around $11,000 and they will perform...
what is so special about this laminator that you need it?
I can tell you with sound experience that going cheap on a laminator is a horrid idea. Nothing worse than ruining your print in the 2nd last step.
If it doesn't have to be glossy, I've got a great paper at 54" which dries instantly and is inexpensive. It is a 8mil Satin paper. 54"x164' rolls are $148.00/roll
I have a 6mil textured laminate which is FDA approved for incidental food contact. 54"x150' rolls are $279. email me and I can get you the specifications. mark@hascographics.com
I've got a great intermediate grade vinyl coated for my by Drytac. It is the same spec as the Oracal product other than being slightly thicker. Air-egress, gray adhesive.
54'x150' rolls are $279.59 so that should also put a few bucks in your pocket. I'm temporarily out of stock of matte...
Try Retac 6mil Textures for wall graphics. It comes in Sand, Canvas, Linen, and Smooth. The textures are great as they hide the imperfections in the wall and you don't laminate it. 54"x150' is under $500 and the product is removable even years after installation.
If you give me a UPS...
I forgot to mention if you just want lines, the gym floor manufacturer has us make them 2" rolls of this stuff to be put down for volleyball and basketball tournaments. You can just buy rolls of tape and apply them (with that gel)
I have a product which is meant for athletic courts. It uses gel instead of adhesive so it won't bond to the floor or leave any residue behind. When matched with a scuff/slip resistant floor lam, you've got a safe court to play on. Used for the Division II and III NCAA men's and women's final...
