How old was the ink in your L360?
I dont know how long the ink lasts past the expiration date.... But if your printer was sitting there for a really long time, the ink could have theoretically clogged your nozzles... It's why using aftermarket ink, and expired ink is a risk.... You're...
Thats the thing... They did it in mass E-mails, not on their website - And on their twitter account. So it's not really a company endorsing a cindidate so much as it is one spamming their views - If I got an E-mail saying to vote for the candidate I was going to vote for, and kept getting...
I find it dumb you need a permit. But this guy is going crazy.
Actually... do you need a permit for political signs? I know we have a section where realtor signs, and political signs don't need a permit... but I never really looked up the sizing requirements.
This guy will be in more...
Photoshop is pretty good at it. Have you ran it through a free site to see how it does? I find most of them do it pretty good... If its a complicated one and has to be done manually, it depending on the image it could take 10 minutes or an hour :( Usually the 10 minute ones will get auto...
https://www.mactac.com/Printvinyl-Scored - Mactac has a vinyl in both perm and removable where they score the back of it... I was sent a trial roll of each when they came out with it. I figured it'd be great for wall mural installs... but sadly the score is in the wrong direction for murals...
Just wanted to confirm the issue is fixed for me. Sent 2 2 FT Tiles... It didn't create the cut file for the second until it started to print it, Where as before as soon as I hit print it'd generate every cut file, so at first I was worried it wasn't working, but it seems to be fine!
Do you tape it up to the take up reel before printing? I know its a waste... But we always had panel issues, then after a few steps we can get it "ok". Not as good as our Epson though.
Tape it up to the take up reel before printing - this way the tension is the same through the whole thing...
Did you lay out the panels before hand and ensure they line up before installing?..
We'll always drop the panels on the warehouse floor or a table if its big enough, get the panels aligned in on the table... then throw a piece of green tape down every 2 FT, splice the tape between the...
You cut .080 aluminum on a steeltrak? Seems like it'd be a little (a lot) too thick for me. It says it can cut .040 which still seems a bit too thick for a non blade...
How are the edges?
What CNC are you thinking of getting? And what materials do you cut?
Multicams all come with a pressure plate.... It doesn't hold the part in place, it just applies pressure so the part doesn't vibrate up / down and cause chatter. Its good to have, but does nothing to prevent the part from...
They print ok. But the heads aren't commercial heads.... So they're not super reliable.
If you go into it knowing you're buying a flatbed with the build quality of a desktop laser printer, you won't be let down.
I think you always strive for 100% Matching copies where you wouldnt be able to tell the difference between the 2 no matter how hard you try... But most customers don't care. They'd rather something close, because the alternative is to blow the current graphic up 5 FT And it'd look like ass...
We pour it into barrels and dispose of it every year or two depending on how much we have.
Kitty litter is also probably fine.... Every municipality is probably different, call and ask your local waste / recycling area what they recommend.
Funny enough.... while trying to be funny, Gino is right. These are all usually screen printed.
We do them all the time.... UV ink doesn't last long enough, these are meant for machines that need to last 15-25 years and UV ink will scratch off.
The reason you're paying $40 each is...
We use a vacuum table. We used to have a really good multicam one ... Now we use 2x blackbox vacuum tables hooked up to 4 zones.
MDF spoil board, we use a o flute upcut so the chips fly up and into the vacuum.
If we're cutting small 6" letters.... We throw a row or two of double sided tape to...
We use a multicam digital express, had it for like 10 years... We're mainly a traffic company so we cut aluminum 8 hours a day pretty much every day! We use those metal barrels that you clamp the lids on... We have three of them, the dust deputy is attached to the lid so whenever it is full all...
Yup! You can buy the knockoff for like $20-40 and just screw / tape it into any barrel if you already have a barrel though. If you're doing aluminum, it gets pretty heavy, so I'm not sure how the cardboard type barrels would hold up...
Buy a 2 HP dust collector and by a dust deputy and connect it to that. We use it and run our CNC 8 hours a day.... The harbor freight dust collector is actually really good.
We've been through 2 though.... 1 died after 3 years, 8 hours everyday use.. the second died within a year because our...
Hah... Good luck! It Took 2 major releases for my bug.
I had an issue since onyx 21.
If you had a cut file where you added bleed via onyx.... It would cut off by however much bleed you added. Or if you added bleed then automatically added cut marks it'd do the same thing.
I emailed them...
I thought about that and tried that. However it wasn't nesting, or at least it would not rotate to make use of most of the media... Print is individual jobs was taking up an extra 30 ft of material.
Print individual is how I do a lot of stuff at work on our solvent printer because it doesn't...
