I have a good adhesive fabric that would do the job. Other alternatives would be PhotoTex. Its a tricky application and the simple way is to use adhesive fabric.

This material called XBase is made just for that purpose, nothing will ever permanently bond to your graphic or anything that has XBase on top of it.

What is the application that is getting too wet for the Mimaki, I have not experienced that problem with their white ink.
