I get what you're saying, but in that example some of those results wouldn't be acceptable. (and not because you just did a quick auto-trace) On the inside of the "s" for example, the finished product when weeded would result in some wonky shapes/intersections of colors.

This won't account for areas where two different bleeds intersect at the cutline...

I've always had to do it manually...................would love to find a way to automate it.

Thanks Scott, I like this idea. Just found out most of the signs won't have an overlay sign at first so standoffs won't work. (Don't want a bunch of threads sticking out of the signs, will look ugly) We're going to CNC the overlay panels so we can make sure hole placement is precise enough...
