  1. Versaworks - Stuck file - Crashing

Go to your queue and delete the job there.... C:\Program Files (x86)\Roland VersaWorks\VersaWorks\Printers\XR-640\Job-B (Printer and Queue may be different on your end but you get the idea)
  2. Two Color Touching Bleed Set up

I get what you're saying, but in that example some of those results wouldn't be acceptable. (and not because you just did a quick auto-trace) On the inside of the "s" for example, the finished product when weeded would result in some wonky shapes/intersections of colors.
  3. Two Color Touching Bleed Set up

This won't account for areas where two different bleeds intersect at the cutline...
  4. Two Color Touching Bleed Set up

I've always had to do it manually...................would love to find a way to automate it.
  5. Summa S3

Fried the board on our F1612.....so it's not just an issue down under.
  6. Software Questions

Small world! I grew up just south of St. Vital and am now in St. Boniface. Well done for moving to BC, has always been a dream of mine!
  7. Software Questions

Welcome from Winnipeg, Manitoba! Definitely does sound like some redundancies were inherited as well. Are all the graphics vector to begin with? If so, there should be no loss quality when the file is scaled. I've used Corel / Omega since the beginning of time and both are very much...
  8. Suggestions Hardware/install method for changeable leasing signs?

Awesome, thank you. Going to order one in, looks like it would come in handy!
  9. Suggestions Hardware/install method for changeable leasing signs?

Good to know, thanks! Not familiar with these, do you need a rivet run to insert them?
  10. JBurton

Interesting, can't say I've heard of them! We're stuck right in the middle of both their locations but will see what their shipping rates are. We deal with Spicers locally and they've been really good to us.
  11. JBurton

Good to know, thanks! Will look into further.
  12. Suggestions Hardware/install method for changeable leasing signs?

Thanks Scott, I like this idea. Just found out most of the signs won't have an overlay sign at first so standoffs won't work. (Don't want a bunch of threads sticking out of the signs, will look ugly) We're going to CNC the overlay panels so we can make sure hole placement is precise enough...
  13. JBurton

We had a Nekoosa rep come by a few months back, great guy and they have a really nice lineup of products. He sent me some samples rolls as promised after our meeting, which is more than I can say for most reps/salespeople.
  14. Aluminum Number Sign Questions

I didn't bother reading the rest of your rant...............but I find this hilarious. What I find "annoying"..........is when random people show up here and expect industry veterans to just spit out their tried and true methods just because you asked. And delivered on a silver spoon no less...
  15. Suggestions Hardware/install method for changeable leasing signs?

Ehhh....I'd be nervous with just velcro. They don't have a lot of vacancies so changeovers will be pretty rare. I also have to keep in mind what it will look like when the insert is removed. Sorry, forgot to mention, the idea is that the main back panel reads "Fully leased" like in the...
  16. Suggestions Hardware/install method for changeable leasing signs?

Good ideas, thanks. Any concerns w/ stainless steel standoffs if they're going to be in contact with ACM and/or another bolt? Maybe safer to just go with aluminum standoffs...... ?
  17. Summa F1612 Dragging/wrinkling through cut edge

We took those off of our single, double and heavy duty knives and never looked back. Caused more issues than they helped with. Glad you got it sorted out!
  18. Suggestions Hardware/install method for changeable leasing signs?

We've got a few of these to build for a customer, who changes their own inserts. We're making 6-ish or so and they don't have very much turnover at all, so they won't be changed often by any means. I'm having a hard time deciding what to use to attach the changeable "banner" part - I was...
  19. Aluminum Number Sign Questions

Agreed. How can you be so close to launching "a business" yet have literally no idea how you're going to make the product. I guess this is what happens when every Tom, Dick and Harry can set up an e-commerce site and say they own their own business. Snide remarks aside, I wish you the best...
