Customer wants "City of XXX POLICE Station" and their logo in raised form on the entrance wall. I've put these on siding before, I assume drywall would be easier? (I need to find out if it's drywall or concrete block) I've used Gemini in the past.
I'm thinking the flat cut acrylic letters and...
IMO, you are already using the best cutter out there - a Graphtec. I would get nothing but Graphtec. I had one for 17 years and it still works great. Never let me down, cuts perfectly straight lines for 20'. I bought a printer and it came with a Summa. It's good but nothing beats a Graphtec.
I do it wet on-site then no bubbles on the edges where it overlaps. Plus, it's much quicker that way - IMO - than doing it on a table. I suppose one benefit to doing it in the shop is it's one or two less things to mess up but pretty hard to screw up wet applying.
I will also not print anything copyrighted. A few small things for garage guys if I can print it on my printer but I've never tried to send anything to a wholesale printer that's copyrighted. I get A LOT of people looking for Harley Davidson - won't touch it with a 10' pole.

Seems easier to just order them online. If customers ask you to print them...
"Because of copyright laws, we can't print them. These were special ordered online a few years back and we just got around to framing them."
What site?
"No idea, I was drunk when I ordered them."
LMAO! They are so outdated. I can't stand closing them then watching them go back and forth until they stop moving - it's very annoying to me for some reason
Hey! Where is that guy that has this exact business? He was around last week or the week before but I think he hates us now and left the site. Let me look back on my comments, I'll see if I can find him.
I changed both the magenta/yellow heads and it prints beautifully!
I talked to Geneva today and she said there's a screen that shows which printheads are misfiring. She didn't recall how to get to it as she was busy but if anyone else knows, I would be interested!
Vertical blinds...ugh I hate those things but it's what some of my customers have put up in their windows. They make nice roller type shades now also, I prefer the look of those over blinds.
OK - she called me Friday night and again this morning because I'm giving the second quote - supposedly. I called and asked her what the first company was doing. They are cutting a signboard to fit around the bricks which must have been very expensive that's why they called me. I quoted for 2...
Yes, I laminated it. The spray paint is pretty bumpy so I would like to get as much of the bumps off as possible. of course it's cold outside so that sucks.
