a new s40 is only 9k? did you check the total square ft printed from that xc-540? its an old printer? were they using third party inks? no printer in this price range is built to last longer than 5-6 years...they can and do...just not designed for the long haul...

In my experience with flexi, onyx, caldera and versaworks, shiraz...no rip likes .ai files....pdf,eps,jpg,tiff all day long

besides, Roland and Mutoh's do not calculate ink properly...the smart chips on those cartridges are actually dumb...HP is pretty accurate if you use their phone app for the printers...does not work through onyx.

At $.30 per banner that would be full coverage...it would be $84ea. if the file has a lot of black, change the values to 20,20,20,100...anything more is overkill anyway...

There may be a new plug in required for your new CorelDraw....go to summa's website to check for it. If there is no plug in, you may need to re-install an older version of Coreldraw. Aren't you able to open pdf/.ai files directly into Winplot?

HP has offered it for years on the latex printer.

I would have started by paying HP $1500 flat fee to fix the problem. It covers any part or parts required time and travel...But this is your trailing cable, in my opinion....replacing the ink line assy would resolve this. Looks like a communication error or break in communication....I hope this...

Anyone noticing any issue with UPS recently. Besides delay, which I can live with. They are correcting and charging every 7 of 10 invoices. Weight, size, address(my favorite was RT instead of route) Are they leaking money because of their Amazon contract? Anyone else having UPS headaches?
