You will probably never regret buying the double-sided fiberglass step ladders, we have an 8, two 6s, and a 4. I have been meaning to get a gorilla or similar but haven't had a good excuse yet. It would be nice to have a taller option that can fit in the delivery hatchback. We have gotten a few...
I'm thinking about making a run of frames, if you want to message me your order I would be willing to take a look and maybe make up some prototypes for you.
I have been impressed with Elliot in my limited interaction, I bought an obscure 30 year old lift truck and before I even went to go test drive it the elliot guys emailed me over the manual and build notes from archives. The previous owner didnt have any manuals or info on it.
IIRC There was an article on Keene Sign System or something similar, He used mutiple substrates like pvc hdu aluminum and plywood to build shapes. Maybe give his shop a call to see what his experience with curved HDU is?
Amazing that I actually found it... I think the original had more photos of construction or maybe a different article featuring the same craftsman.

Personally, I would be concerned about the aluminum backer expanding and contracting more than the hdu than the bonded layers of hdu. I think the thinner the better but 1" should bend that much reliably. If possible I would keep the panel as equal as possible in thickness and then if you have...
Yeah sounds like something isolated to that circuit. If multiple coils/solenoids are the same on the valve stack maybe you can quick swap two and see if the issue moves....
We run a royal sovereign (they are pretty much out of business from what I hear) and do lots of variety with it. Most of our transfer taping is short (less than 10') pieces of 24"or 30" material and I think it works very well. If you want to message me I would be happy to show you our setup.
If you have a full painting setup its hard to beat Mathews for overall finish quality and durability, I have a neighboring body shop do that for me if I need it. IIRC the primer is Mathews 6001 and SignBrad has some super good information on what his painting process is (use the search bar as...
There was a similar company out of Arizona but I can't recall the name, I reached out to price one and never got a response. These type of devices are mostly marketed to municipal sign shops so you might have better luck using that for your searches.
Just so you don't get the wrong taste or idea about the response you are getting and that will likely get worse. This is a sign forum for sign professionals and most amateur/diy questions from outside the industry aren't likely to be well received. Almost everyone who has viewed this thread and...
That sounds like an accident waiting to happen, just make sure whomever is installing the one across the street knows it needs to be anchored very well. I would do pole pockets top and bottom and run a cable through both, if using mesh I would use reinforcing tape in the hems.
I usually use...
I don't think it is for retail sales, many districts have "in-plant" printing facilities, and most large districts have more printing and manufacturing equipment than the average sign shop.
