  1. Needing advice with an HDU project

It is looking nice so far, pop back in and post up some completion photos if you don't mind! If you ever have a project needing complex woodworking, we have a master carpenter on staff here who would love to help you with any wooden projects you have.
  2. Easy Pole Banner Swap Outs?

Have a customer looking to swap out banners around vertical columns easier. Is there some sort of track or clamp system that is adjustable for wrapping banners around columns? I'm thinking something like what the top of a standard retractor uses to clamp across the top, but on the long vertical...
  3. Free Stuff For Y'all

I'm still posting to this old thread here. (most recent template a month or so ago) The material you see on the golf cart is Phototex. It does not stretch, so after you apply it to the surface and make your marks it'll go back to perfect flat again once removed so you can take a photo and draw...
  4. Installer Training ?

Get a hold of Dan Nava at https://ibowtraining.com/ You can set up a class at his facility, or book him to come out to yours depending on the number of people attending the training. Have him coming out here in the next couple weeks for an in-house training day. My daughter attended his wrap...
  5. Need Help Has anyone use 3M-IJ680CR-48 on a boat?

Use 280 on a boat, we do a lot of them that way, but no "wraps" on them, just lettering and striping.
  6. Font Needed ASAP

Customer ended up sending me the vector files I needed of everything, but I still wonder what font it was they used. I'm not easily stumped on fonts like I was here.
  7. Font Needed ASAP

Pretty close, but not the correct font. I went through a LOT of similar fonts this morning before I gave up.
  8. Font Needed ASAP

I thought this was Gill Sans or something similar and easy to locate, but it's not for some reason. The "R" looks so familiar, but I cannot get an exact match on the font anywhere I've tried.

I know you're a ways away from these guys, but give Trigon Imaging in Cincinnati a call and see what they'd charge you to get a profile set up or walk you through the process. (should be able to remote in) They're a GREAT team to have on your side for Epson support. If we still had...
  10. Is 3 Layer Printing Possible on a NORTH AMERICAN Epson s80600L

I am pretty sure we used onne of our standard profiles here, but had to do the extra steps listed in the pdf. We used 3M profiles as our base profiles when we built ours.
  11. Advice on application tables

I've put my hands on 3 or 4 of them and seen them used in sign shops. I think they're a scam and every one I've seen had issues and ruined lots of prints. If you have prints to mount, just use a cheap laminator. They DO look nice at the shows, but that is not the real world. YMMV.
  12. Is 3 Layer Printing Possible on a NORTH AMERICAN Epson s80600L

Our Epson S70 series did it with Onyx. I used the European guide you listed for my "how to" as a basic guide to understand how to adjust the print settings in Onyx to make it work correctly as needed in each case. I no longer have those machines and have only have S60 series now, so no longer...
  13. I have question

We still run rolls of vinyl through our (multiple) Gerber sprocket-fed plotters every day, and yes, we have 3 large format plotters also.
  14. Cnc machine question

Went to a show a couple weeks ago and looked a a LOT of them. Our takeaway was to get a Laguna for our next machine. We currently have a Vision 4x8 and want a more reliable larger machine.
  15. Suggestions Epson S80670 or S40600 or something else?

They are not disposable OR cheap to replace; it is one large head with all of those channels/nozzles, so when you lose just a few nozzles it's toast. But - "you can do it yourself", lol. Get ready to go through expensive heads. They're also ONLY available in this configuration, not the dual CMYK...
  16. Onyx 24 issue BEWARE!

Yeah, we ran into this recently with a big run of busses. Printed about 20 rolls of partial bus wraps out this way, expecting everything to be fine... until they got to the cutters, and then production had to hand cut every piece... They were not happy.
  17. Cable Wall Systems for photos

Look into Outwater Products also. They sell some real nice systems. MBS is a good company also though, buy a LOT of standoffs etc from them. We usually make an install template/paint mask for the hole patterns we have the installers drill.
  18. Bypass Onyx profiles and use Epson printer settings

Don't do it. Just get some cheap white vinyl and print to it, then mount it to the magnet with a laminator. You'll potentially burn out your motor on your printer pulling the laminate.
  19. Hope this title is fitting.......................................................

Our installers have to torch the coating off sometimes with coatings like this.
