  1. serif font

Kimberlie-Regular Whatfontis.com identified it for me. (I don't regularly use that site though)
  2. White print on fluorescent Foil

Honestly, the photo provided, looks like a white decal overlaid onto the fluorescent below.
  3. Suggestions Epson S80670 or S40600 or something else?

Our issues were with the S70, and after Epson just said "sorry, non-cmyk inks are not warranted" we decided to never get non-cmyk ink printers again. Have not missed the extra inks any at all and we print a LOT of stuff.
  4. S40600 DROP OUT SEVERE

Check out your capping station to be sure that the seal is good and that it is seated correctly. You're a good bit away from them, but call Nick at Trigon Imaging in Cincinnati, and see if they can help you figure out the issue over the phone. If not, they can fix any problem on these for a...
  5. Need Help Onyx - creating spot gloss with our Cannon Colorado

Never used that printer, but when we needed to print specialty inks on our previous printers with Onyx in similar situations the important thing to remember was to have the area defined as a spot color, and all parts of the art set to Overlays. Onyx has to understand what the spot color name is...
  6. Font identification for "Rafih"

I had some knock off of Edwardian installed so the R was different. I installed the correct Edwardian and everything was good.
  7. What is THIS?

I just went ahead and traced it in vector.
  8. What is THIS?

Customer doesn't have artwork, and asked me to source similar images to redesign their wraps. This is for a mobile automotive service van. I have ZERO idea what this graphic is supposed to represent though, so that I can start my search for something similar... Any guesses as to what it is?
  9. Font identification for "Rafih"

I thought it was Shelley or Edwardian, but can't get the exact match...
  10. Wrap Vinyl for best print quality

Really, most all "premium" and even mid-grade vinyls print about the same on our printers. Only no-name vinyls come out grainy. All others are very smooth as long as you're using good profiles.
  11. Could not be more dissappointed in LEXJET

Not sure how far you are into Indiana, but if you're decently close to Cincinnati Ohio, give Trigon Imaging a call. They sell and service the above products and could get you going correctly if the kind folks here cannot solve your issues. We currently use Epson printers, Onyx RIP, and Graphtec...
  12. Magnetic media and HP 700W

Print on cheap material and then laminate that to roll magnetic stock (without the printable vinyl pre-installed). You'll kill your printers printing on it. That stuff is HEAVY and requires a lot of tension to pull it off the roll.
  13. Free Stuff For Y'all

    2018 Winnebago/Ford Cab "Minnie Winnie" Without Slide-Outs 10% Scale
  14. 3m controltac choices

I have heard that the IJ175 is good for installation, but a real pain for removal later. Have NOT tested any IJ280, but isn't 280 the series name for 3Ms reflective cut vinyl? We are still sticking with good old IJ180c here, seems to be the best all around product as far as install & removal...
  15. Help identifying this reflective vinyl

Looks like the material is 3M IJ689CR-10 if I am seeing the "texture" of the cross hatches correctly. So, this would be printed & laminated reflective I'm guessing.
  16. Getting a new Epson Printer!

Tell them to hold off and bring you an S60600 instead. Get a good RIP, not Epson Edge. What laminator & plotter are you getting? If this i your first printer you're never going to need those other special colors you get with the 80600. We have 4 60600 printers and they all print all day, and we...
  17. Suggestions Epson S80670 or S40600 or something else?

Nah, I mean they are supposed to last a while, but we had a 10-color that had BAD fading issues and Epson basically just said "those aren't warranted, sorry". We went with the dual CMYK heads and haven't had any issues since.
  18. Suggestions Epson S80670 or S40600 or something else?

The additional inks are NOT warranted whatsoever by Epson. They will fade much quicker than the standard CMYK inks will, resulting in much shorter lifespans for graphics.
  19. Suggestions Epson S80670 or S40600 or something else?

Print heads are the same, you can adjust the quality by changing the pass count on the prints. Quality is outstanding. You can dial in every media profiles on the printer itself for great results no matter what you're printing on. S80 uses inks that are not guaranteed to last outdoors. You...
  20. Suggestions Epson S80670 or S40600 or something else?

I believe around $.35/sf depending on coverage & what inks you use. (We use 3M MCS inks here, so they cost more)
