My two Seiko W-64 never had a paper jam error but an occasional Media Misaligned error. There are two sensors, one on each side of the print carriage. Most leading cause of media errors. Wipe them with your cleaning solution.

Try turning your crop marks inward instead of outward. The 8600 reads the inside of the marks.

I just finished installing my fc9000 and learning to send jobs to it. Its not that complicated as Steve-P has described. I'll post when I get back in front of my computer. Only added about two extra minutes to create and send job

Have the same issues with some products that are labeled. Now I use Crack N Peel Sheets and I print them on our offset press or Digital Copier then Cut them down to size. Problem solved for us.

Usually happens at the end of a roll of media. Power printer off then power back on after a few minutes.

I use a 30 for everything. Kiss Cut and Cut Through.all cuts are cut in the channel not on the hard strip.

My graftec 8600 130 Cutting 30 sets of 5 colors grouped. Cut 5 sheets of these. After cutting I alligned all 5 sheets and punched them out together, it took less than 5 minutes to punch 750 total stickers and to seperate the colors. If I can figure how to post the video here I will.

Im printing on two Roland xr640 and doing all my vinyl cutting on Graftec fc8600 and fc9000. Straight thru and Kiss cut, I dont ust the pref cut anymore its too slow.

Something is binding up.

Goatshaver, Do a one cut process instead of two cuts. Try reducing your blade depth to a minimum and increase your pressure or reduce your pressure and slowley increase your blade depth. I have four Graftecs, a fc2250 which I cut magnets on, two fc8600 and the new fc9000 which cut all my vinyl...

Check the four pinch rollers. The two outside rollers set to full pressure and the two middle rollers set at half pressure.

Just got one too. But still setting it up, if I find out something I will post. Definatly check with the company that sold it to you.

If its the same file and it has not been altered the marks will be in the same position.
