I left my two XR640 Rolands at factory settings. Then manually clean around the print heads and the wiper blade area every two weeks.

What type of file are you printing from? (PDF, JPEG, EPS)

Here is the money making side of the shop. Working on two 24,000 piece orders at the same time and have 42 more orders to get out before Labor day. I've Printed Nine 54"x100' rolls of vinyl this week already and its only Wednesday.

Try a different type of media. If it prints good on Gloss or Matte finish vinyl, it could be Static, Temperature or even the head height.

Ive had a simular problem with a one month old New Magenta head on my Seiko W-64. Tried all kinds of cleanings with no luck. Every one said it was an ink flow problem. So I switched the Magenta head over to the Black head position and the problem carried over. The head was misfireing. Purchased...

Wow Looks Great. Please post new pictures on June 14, 2022. After one year in our shop it looks like a bomb went off. No time to clean up or put things away. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

I have an American Flag Magnet on my truck now. Approxmatly 16 months old, still looks good.

Going Thicker gives the consumer a perception of value. Thicker is better in their eyes.

Cant agree with Don McCormick 100%. I print directly to the magnetic material with a Roland and they are not Fuzzy (see samples in photo attached) and I only loose less than 20 individule pieces. I get a good 600 - 3.5×5.0 magnets from a 30" × 50' roll. I cut them all on a Graphtec FC2250.

I think I figured it out.

Get two nuts, keep one for a backup

I print .030 magnet material 30" × 50' roll on a Roland XR 640 then contour cut it on a Graftec FC2250 flat bed cutter perfect everytime. All shapes and sizes. I started out by printing vinyl and applying it to the maget material which works great also if the customer wants a glossy magnet.
