All kinds of paint - oil based actually takes longer to dry.

We do in house metal fab, when we dip our...
Unless he's going out on his own...pretty sure he worked for gsns digital and they've been liquidating all their vinyls.
There are other idotmvendors. Neschen makes one and mactsc makes one as well
Offgassing is a term used in lots of areas... Some just call it differently.
Sherwin Williams uses offgassing - while most other paint shops call it "cured". You can do a second coat of paint in a 8-24 hours when the paint is dry to the touch... But every can of paint says you can't wash the...
I think the argument is dumb.
Latex sells a ton of machines because of their instant lamination.
Why on earth would Epson / Roland / Mimaki / everyone else gimp their sales by saying you need to wait xx hours if you didn't? There is zero benefit to them telling you that their ink needs time...
Drytac polar, an air egress high tac vinyl.
The part I pushed back the glue feels gummy, and while there is air... If you pop the bubble the vinyl won't lay down, it's like it lost it's stickyness.
We've printed since but stuff on the material and it's fine too, so unless there was a bad 15...
Nope, we only wet install frosted.
The only difference is that was printed at lunch time, the other 20ish windows were printed the night before. The material didn't even leave the printer.
Both windows that were reprinted are bubbling, not just in one spot either.... The whole window is...
People always say don't worry about it and needing to offgas is a myth.... Despite the printer manufacturers telling you to offgas themselves. One of latexs biggest selling points is instant lamination.... If you could do that with solvents, you can sure bet one manufacturer would come out and...
Been awhile since I uploaded a video...
Here it is doing the kiss cut over the channel...Then doing the Perf cut over the channel... no need to change the tools or cut into the strip at all. This one is an easy rectangle, then a perf cut rectangle with rounded corners - Doing...
Just pointing out with my graphtec, Ive never had to change the strip and I do rolls of vinyl every week... :p I've never changed a summa strip -but if it only takes a few minutes, thats not too bad.
Our operator always cuts too deep on my work graphtec - And we change the strip often on that...
I never understood the thought process of using a high tac, or a thick overlam on heavy duty machinery.
When you have a 5000 LB machine brush up against a rock, or building, or anything else really... It doesnt matter if you laminate the thing with polycarb, its going to scratch and get...
Double sided tape. 1" In each corner... Tape it down once its aligned then you can move it wherever you want without the vinyl moving.... We found thats the best way when doing 4x8 panel alignments... So long as you tape it down flat, its always been perfect.
I mean, you can start with the section "how to get into service mode" since that seems to be what you're having issues with?
It's very simple... And if you're having issues following instructions on how to do that... You probably shouldn't be playing in those menus as you can do more harm...
Resin printer is pretty much a latex printer... Just epsons version.
Water based, and uses "resins" that get left behind when the water evaporates. Its a bit better quality than the latex printers, but aside from that it's hard to tell the difference between the 2 print wise. It acts and...
Goto what Coreldraw calls wire frame mode (?) And see if theres a hidden line there you cant see under the color in the original file. The PDF looks like a mess - My guess is its from some POD pack that someone auto traced a ton of stuff in bulk.... So it has a ton of stray lines / points and...
Ahh, a bit too far then. You guys pay 500 usd for ij40?!
It's $475 cad here. That's $350 usd... Unless you're also including overlam in the price. I'd shop around or scream at your current supplier.
Are you in Richmond, BC?
I'm guessing so by your $500 ij40 comment!
If you want to make the trek down to Langley I can show you the resin printer in action, print some sample files of yours.
Or delta I can show you the 700 or s40 - no s80 anymore, but the s40 is the same print quality.as the...
I'm not pointing it out to say it's a small thing!
Latex and Solvent printers are completely different workflows. So if the only complaint is something that's fixed in a different brand... It makes it a viable option to stay on latex.
However if you hate the pre-heating, how it'll heat up...
Yeah, looks like it's only hot swappable on the L series, otherwise you have to pause it. I think it's a $2500 difference only... And honestly it feels like that's a small price to pay for 20% ink savings if you're printing a lot. No idea how reliable itsupplies is... Doesn't sound like a...
