  1. Roland Color Issue - Panels printing different colors than original

    Before or after laminating? I had a three panel job on a box truck once and installed a new roll of laminate for the last panel and it shifted the color. Same exact laminate 290Gloss but must have been a different lot # and it darkened the print slightly.

    I had periodic jamming of material w/ my Edge 2 once in a while. The fix was to clean the shaft of the movable back sprocket and give it a drop or 2 of oil. Fixed the issue every time. Not sure if the FX has the same back sprocket setup but probably does...

    The difference is probably the ink used for cleanings... Do you weigh the drained ink container too?

  9. Outside Pinch Roller

    Pull off the little c clamp on the outside and slide them out. Make sure you put the new roller in correctly because they are tapered. Little red or black dot goes to the outside. You also want to put down something to cover any open areas on the printer so you don't lose anything...

    Looks good. I'd make the plumbing/heating text & panel larger with more contrast. Looks a little small now. I'd try the Burgundy/Maroon too.

  13. Wet installed laminated perf - customer unhappy

    I poke each and every hole with a 3M air release tool to remove the fluid from the laminate then heat it and seal it. I'm very fast :supersmilie:

    For a 30ft. decal I'd use a center tape hinge.

    Could be the amount of foil left on the roll. Can't bleed the underbase?

    You must be in the wrong place on Dells site because they have many options to choose from. Operating system, processor, video card, memory, hard drive etc. I just bought a Inferno system from Casey at SignBurst last week and am very pleased with it... :thumb: Well built and very fast.
