  1. Weeding reflective

I use the 3m 680 for award plaques, most of the time if I apply it crooked I am able to remove it and reuse the plaque. I find it is a little harder to weed corners and when weeding a script font I have to slow down and take my time or it will tear.

Found the pic, think it was from 2007 <---That's a link
  3. Squeegee Streaks on Overlam printed Vinyl

I had one realtor try to get me to skew her photo so she would look thinner, I played dumb while making changes in front of her until she explained what she wanted. Had another realtor bring in a picture to use for a head shot - she was sitting naked on a hay bail twisting around and covering...

  6. hp poster paper

I had no problems with paper until recently on my 360s, the prints weren't drying, i had strikes in the curing unit unless on the TUR. I have had good luck with Sihl 3686 and the provided HP profile, but have had to adjust the vacuum down to 50 or less. I am going to rebuild the profile and see...
  7. Your Physical Health

I am sure telling the owner that I had drivin miles of t posts and strung the barbed wire as well as herded cattle landed me my job from an old now 93 cowboy, it was the seal the deal on the actual work experience and let him know I don't mind doing work. I imagine your kids are great workers...
  8. Your Physical Health

I come from litho and found this to be most true in the larger commercial shops. If they weren't pissed off working at a small shop, they were pissed and angry working for a commercial shop while missing fingers or living and working with a work related disability (In Denver - Pepperdines and...
  9. Your Physical Health

When I operated 9 printers at once and did a lot of color matching, I found having a little toke helped me out; I could spend 2-3 hours trying to hit Johnston Murphy grey, then take a 30 min lunch and smoke, then come back and nail the color withing 10-15 minutes. I quit getting baked during...
  10. Black color not drying on HP 365 Latex

I have been dealing with this on my 360 and 365 for almost a year. Usually bumping up the curing temp will help - One of my prints still does it on blacks at the highest setting allowed. I am surprise it isn't smudging when you wipe it. I sometimes will use a heat gun to get prints to finish curing.

  13. Life span of the HP 360 and 365

Ah! You are correct. I also realized the 360's out put is only from 2019 when I installed Onyx.
  14. Life span of the HP 360 and 365

I appreciate your response. Both printers have had SMK#1 done with the 365 most recent about 1 a year or more ago. I didn't think of taking out the cutter, I am going to do that.
  15. Life span of the HP 360 and 365

I haven't been able to find any information on how long these printers should last / how much media they can print before they start to die. I have been having a magnitude of issues with both my 360 and 365 since February and have had a tech out multiple times, but issues keep coming up each...
  16. Need Help Apply transfer tape to vinyl then cutting with Graphtec

I see. I was thinking you had printed this.
  17. Need Help Apply transfer tape to vinyl then cutting with Graphtec

Why not skip the transfer tape? I never mask reflective when I am making traffic and street signs. I cut with a straight edge and apply.
