  1. Check never debited...

I guess they don't have good employees at the banks you all use. When I deposit checks, the tellers will point out to me that the writer didn't put the cents on the longhand written line and they can't deposit it for the full amount written in the numerals box. Or that the writer didn't sign the...
  2. Looking for a font that looks like an egyptian font any hand letterer would use.

What does an Egyptian font look like? Hieroglyphics? Arabic?
  3. It's on the tip pf my brain but I just can't name this font.

  4. Noobie Questions about these "templates"

If you buy the templates, they are accurate and ready to use. For karts, bikes, quads, etc. the files are usually already exact size, 1:1. For automobiles they are usually scaled 1:20. I find the front and rear view drawings are not correct on automobile templates. They make the template look...
  5. Mounting Brackets For 6mm MAXMETAL

We use three per 4' side on the pole. Two corners and a center. They will end up damaging the wrap on the sign from flexing of the sign, so cut around the bracket with a knife.
  6. Eyelet press won't cut through hemmed banner

Even if they came with the press, they may be the wrong grommets. Non self-peircing grommets, like the ones you get at Wal-Mart with a tool that requires the use of a hammer to set the grommet require you to first punch the hole with a punch, then set the grommet with the grommet tool...
  7. How to stretch a vinyl

Adhesive vinyl? If you are installing with a Big Squeegee, it's easy to gain length in the direction you are squeegeeing. In fact you have to work hard not to stretch the vinyl an inch over a distance like that. Not sure how you'd get gains in length and width at the same time without making it...
  8. Insane installation

I doubt they are adhered to the banner wrap. Unless they are packing them with some serious lithium batteries, they are wired the traditional way, through the wall. That means there are studs through the banner too. On the other hand, if the banner isn't flush with the wall, but they use...
  9. What is a "Monkey Board" type sign?

Monkeyboard is an oil drilling term. monkeyboard. 1. n. [Drilling]. The small platform that the derrickman stands on when tripping pipe. There's a rooftop bar and restaurant in New Orleans with that name also. You would not want your monkeyboard made of coroplast if you were the monkey.
  10. Application Roller For Existing Table. Any Ideas?

The Big Squeegee requires a little practice to get the touch just right, but works well once you have it figured out. Just realize that it does require a little bit of setup and practice and finesse, unlike the way the videos portray where it looks like you can just slam through everything in...
  11. Thoughts on the Epson s70670?

That usually is caused by the damper--which is not user serviceable on the Epsons.
  12. Credit Cards

There are 11 states which have outlawed "convenience fees" or surcharges for using credit cards. Everywhere else it's legal. In Missouri, even our state is ripping us off on taxes by requiring us to file and pay online "due to COVID", and the only way to pay online is by credit card. And they...
  13. Thoughts on the Epson s70670?

Agree. All ink is Epson brand. I have never had bad ink.
  14. Attaching PVC Cut letters to Brick

I think I'd not go by the rendering for installation either. Better to put the letters in line with the horizontal brick lines.
  15. Windows 11

The good thing is Windows 10 doesn't reach end of support until October, 2025. So you have lots of time, even if you don't have TPM on your computer.
  16. Attaching PVC Cut letters to Brick

VHB tape does not stay stuck to brick. It'll stick for a while, then fall off. Maybe a month, maybe a year later. But fall it will. Glue will help. In that case, the VHB tape is just to hold it until the glue sets. But make sure the glue sticks to the PVC.
  17. Thoughts on the Epson s70670?

I am using an S70670 I have had since the introduction. You can use the orange+ ink if you want but it doesn't help with longevity. For outdoor signs and banners I have made profiles that only use CMYKLcLm and get normal durability. Before I realized the problem, I had done a bunch of signs and...
  18. IPA is damaging our coroplast -- printing shows it and it's BAD

It's probably the excess of hops in the IPA causing the problems.
  19. Can i wrap a matte car ?

We havew wrapped cars that had peeling clearcoat which was just sanded smooth, rendering the finish essentially matte. It works fine. What doesn't work is wrapping an 80s-90s era GM car or truck which had the galvanized sheetmetal that the paint falls off in giant flakes. The vinyl will not...
