All I can say is find a happy medium with speed and quality. We have had our machine about 3 years now and I can't count the amount of times I wish we had bought more machine/speed. Don't get me wrong our HP has been great, but if we had more room we would definitely buy another one or upgrade...

It's slow and a complete pain to operate (granted I'm not the operator). I have never seen a machine throw up so many errors, commands, hoops to jump through, etc. It wants to do everything except what it is designed to do....print. The ink technology is great (which I was skeptical about)...

Had the same issue with the black nozzle on ours a few months back. Went ahead and pulled the trigger on a new latex. Really wish we still had our old GS6000 as the quality is unmatchable and ease of use is superior to the latex. The new latex is great, but no where near what the Epson is/was.

Not sure, but we print in that reverse order all the time. UV HP FB500 > UV Screen white backup. Works great. We have had adhesion problems with the white on our printer.

100% what Jester said. We have production schedules that are updated and distributed daily. Nothing fancy, but it has deadlines for each department that they go by.

We had an L360 installed last week and have spent a few days writing profiles for most of our media. Even when fine tuned to the best of our ability, there is no comparison to the quality on our old GS6000. Like others have said, 12pl is a large drop size and it is noticeable on this machine...

This appears to have become a known issue that Epson is avoiding. They will tell you to replace both heads ($3k) and deny any wrong doing. There are several other threads on this same known issue. Please update when you get this resolved as I would like to know what Epson says. Thanks!

I am very suspicious that it has something to do with a bad batch of ink. This is a symptom that is happening across the board on a international level to a machine that has had very little known issues. Very strange and upsetting. Was looking at replacing the printer with a new Surecolor...

I know that CET was doing this at one point and would imagine they still are/can. I will PM you Jim Peterson's info @ CET as he is the man with the plan. If they are not still converting, he will definitely lead in you in the right direction for a new printer.
