I'm currently using shutterstock to buy my images. We do quite amount of murals and I was wondering if there was a site that is more specifically made for very large image?
Thanks.
I'm looking into the Q5-1000 fix table. There is a new option with LED light cumming up. Actually, it is between the Q5-1000 and the vanguard VK300D that is comparable.
Can you elaborate?
it's been a bit over 24 hours now. I can still wiggle the letters a bit but definitely stronger than yesterday. The install is in two days, I'm pretty sure it will be safe by then.
I like your loctite power grab idea. I'll give it a try in the future.
I would normally also use tape, but in this case, the letters are thinner than my tape. On the tube, it says tack free in 30min, cure firm in 2-4 days and totally in 1-2 weeks. I'm just hopping the ''wiggling'' will stop after 24 hours.
So If I let the sign flat with the letters for about 24h, would it be rock solid after that? If so, I will plan my install in 2 days then just to be safe.
Sorry to hijack this tread. But I have to fix 1/4 thick by 3in high aluminum letter to an acrylic sheet for interior use. It's the first time I'm using Lexel and after one hour I can still move the letter a bit (like 1 millimeter). Is it normal?
I would like to know, other than window tint product, is there any colored optically clear vinyl? Or a material that is thicker than window tint and be manipulate more like vinyl?
Thanks.
Great, thank you for all the details. It's my first uv printer and I'm in no rush to buy it since I can sub some work for now. So I want to do my homework well before making my purchase.
I did not mention it, but I'm also looking for a flatbed cutter and a uv coater for rigid sheets.
I just print on cheap vinyl without lamination. It normally take around 4 to 6 month before scratches and other things show up. Then, I just pull it off and create a different design.
Yep. I've had the chance to play with a FB750 for about half a day. I wasn't impressed compared to Canon and Vanguard. HP was my first stop because I already use their latex printer. So the learning curve would be easier.
Does anyone could give me real world feedback on AGFA and mimaki printer?
I also tried to contact Jetrix to know if there where any dealer in Canada and never get a reply. Does anyone know how to contact them directly?
Good. If you don't mind, can you give me your feedback after the show on the Jetrix? Also, I know Vanguard will be there, so I suggest you look at it. For now, they are on top of my list.
Never heard of Jetrix in the past. I've went to their website and the specifications seems right. I've sent them an email to know if they have a distributor here in canada. Did you or do you work with that brand of printer? If yes, can you give me some feedback?
I understand your point for the...
Yes, I've looked at it. Print quality wasn't good enough for me, white ink was not as opaque as the other one on my list and the two owners I've talked recommend me to buy something else.
So I'm doing my homework to buy a new flatbed printer. So far, I have few contender. To give you an idea of what I will do with it, here is a short list:
40% will be for printing on coroplast
10% will be for printing on aluminium composite
25% will be for printing on acrylic (so need white ink)...
