A sheet coater cost around 75k$ (new). If the statement of the SwissQ rep is right, I would prefer to have everything in the same machine.
It's the answer I got with all manufacturer except SwissQ. I'm just checking if it's BS from the rep.
Hi, I was told by a swissq representative that he can use the clear ink as a protection for the ink. Like a liquid coater. I find it hard to believe, but if this is true, is there other machine that we can do this? Would it be better to take the clear option than pay 75k$ for a liquid coater...
I'm looking for a printable mat vinyl with clear adhesive and bubble free. If I can find one with a 90# liner, it would be great. So far, I've found the oracal 3164RA, but the liner is not 90#.
Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.
there is really a problem somewhere. I have the axact same printer but I use Caldera rip. I always print at 10 pass and my images are alot better than your picture. Like Steve Shaw mentioned, it's most likely a profile problem.

The problem in the startup process was the customer (government) was not clear on the design. In the bid, they stated that the image purchased would involved minor changes. So we assume that it was an image, just some cropping and put it in black & white for example. We allowed one hour do do...
So to answer some questions. Yes the design is 100% created by us (all vector). There was no image purchased to make this design. We have a contract sent with all quote saying that we own any design made by us. I can win back the job, because it's for a company own by the government. I know...
So we have done 2 murals for a customer (company own by the government) and we were hire by the contractor to do the job. The design of those murals were 100% custom and we had to make many modifications requested by the designer and customer. We ended up with 4 hours design time extra. We knew...
