I use Signlab 8 for all my vinyl cutting and designing for print. I use Flexi for print and cut only and I have Omega to run my Edge. Everything is basically set up in Signlab and then sent out to the other softwares on different work stations to run printer and Edge
A customer brought in a 12' trailer that we lettered up about 8 - 10 years ago... We used that premium chrome vinyl by Coburn. One side that sits in the sun for the most part is completely faded to clear and he wants 1 side and the rear redone.
I started with the steamer and a plastic razor...
I appreciate your argument ikarasu, and I agree 100% with your argument. I posted the question for exactly what you stated. An example of "if it ain't broke don't worry about it" issues. For example.... For a period of time ( and I have no idea why it started, and why it has stopped) the odd...
Thanks... that's where I found it too. will look it over and see if I can get it back on. ..... I looked and there is already one there...but I looked at the other takeup wheel and that's where it came from. Snapped back on and good to go.
Was vacuuming and found this little plastic gear on the floor. Not usre it came from the printer. JV3 It is 1/2" high. Anyone have any ideas if it fell out of my printer?

I am pretty sure that I experienced head smearing with my printer using reflective.... and that stuff ain't cheap... I was also surprised how well the printer worked with printing on 2ml lam.
Maybe the printer is having trouble pulling off a large roll... Sometimes I wonder how it can pull one of those 80 pound rolls of banner material without slipping
If you want to print the sign, I have printed full colour graphics on clear laminate, then laminate that and apply to the reflective coated board. Due to white reflective not being really white, colours can shift a bit, but they do look good...and a heck of a lot cheaper than cutting reflective...
The sign was picked up exactly 2 weeks later ( 4 days after I posted the thread) he only person I could communicate with finally returned from vacation and apologized for not having someone pick it up. The guy who picked it up is a site supervisor and tells me he needs 2 more with the arrows...
...as the title says I somehow right clicked and removed an attachment. I can't say that I have ever done that before and not sure how to get it back. I looked in my recycle folder but nothing. any ideas before I sheepishly email the client back to resend it?
I would try this as well... The unit can vibrate at times causing things to loosen up I suppose. I have opened my edge up many times and made sure everything is inserted correctly as I have had problems over the years with a beeping sound and no print at all. I have narrowed it down to one...
