  1. New website

lol...good point I use Chrome but I keep getting the "Could not load Shockwave Flash" message and can't figure out for the life of me how to fix it. So I downloaded Opera to use in the meantime.
  2. New website

No offense taken! I had the site built, so I'm just learning how to edit different parts. I can change the fonts, but there are very few to choose from and I'm not sure if more can be added. Thanks!
  3. New website

Thanks! For some reason, when I view it with the Opera browser, the video thumbnails don't show up - there's just a big blank spot on the page.
  4. New website

Open to ideas and suggestions: http://precisionsignservices.com
  5. Blew up the old site! New and improved website for the shop.

I like it. I'm digging the icons on the 'Why Use Us' and 'Our Process' pages. It seems like less of a chore to read than the typical sentence/paragraph format. I will say the home page loaded really, really slowly (using Google Chrome browser with Windows 8). I'm also uploading a video though...
  6. Customer is pulling a job because I didn't respond to a text, really?

I give my number to the majority of my customers, but that majority is other sign companies. It's pretty invaluable for what I do and none of my customers abuse it. Some need completion photos from the site or I need to ask a question about an install location or something and being able to send...
  7. Neon Sign Parts (grid)

Being unnerved wasn't an attack on you. It was just a general statement. It's not uncommon for folks to come to this forum and ask how to build a channel letter or install a cabinet sign or something similar. That's just not the kind of thing you're going to learn proficiently on a forum. Like...
  8. Neon Sign Parts (grid)

I'm not being at all critical. I try to be nothing but helpful on this forum. I simply said it's unnerving when someone, for example, asks for a supplier of electrical components but it doesn't sound like they're at all familiar with what they're doing. That's not being critical - it's being...
  9. Neon Sign Parts (grid)

It's unnerving when someone asks for a supplier for electrical/neon components but the terminology and description they give indicates they aren't the least bit familiar with said components.
  10. The easiest and fastest way to install dimensional letters

AKA a 'stencil pattern'. I've used stencil patterns on a few jobs, only with thinner material. Definitely a time saver.
  11. ACM - "INSTALL ONE DIRECTION ONLY" Why?

If the panels are installed or manufactured with the sheets running in different directions, there can be slight color variations in the reflections of the panels.
  12. Directory sign

Probably not the same, but Slatz is a good system: http://www.clarkesystems.com/interior-communication/slatz-sign-system/index.asp
  13. Anyone want to trade likes on FACEBOOK?

Just joined up. Not sure it will be worth the time for what I do, but figured I'd give it a shot and it may help Google searches. click
  14. New way of applying application tape..

The text on there looks a hare off. ....
  15. Big squeege for wall murals?

That first video is awesome! Doing a project of the size you mention, I would insist on an air release vinyl and definitely use the Big Squeegee. If you don't use an air release vinyl, I think it would trap too much air underneath, primarily due to irregularities in the paint/wall - let alone...
  16. Big Squeegee's came in handy today...

    Thanks, guys!
  17. Big Squeegee's came in handy today...

Thanks guys. The vinyl is Oracal 3169RA.
  18. 18x24 help

How many fonts are on there? Seems like they're fighting for attention.
