  1. Question Is there any HP Latex 260 #792 3rd party printheads??

I still have about 20 cartridges of 792, waiting till I swap out a power supply & get the 260 going again
  2. Question Modifying Juki sewing machine

Whatever machine you have, you'll wish the bobbin would hold more- that's how it goes! The thicker the thread, the less it holds, too.
  3. Font humor

And Arial Bold was a brave mermaid!
  4. Question Laser Machine Newbie

Fibre & Co2 - dual machines exist, but separate will be better. Just like you can get dual cnc routers & lasers - but they will do one ok, and one poorly. Separate is better.
  5. Turn Key Installation Waiver???

We do lots of installations with provided materials - no waivers etc, and to date, no problems except one... and that was with materials provided by us, actually. We'd fitted signage to a building - all ACM panels cut, shaped and glued , covering 30 feet x 6 feet, and attached with a toggle...
  6. L26500 C/LC issue?

But clean the head's electrical contacts in the head carriage anyway, as well.
  7. Anyone know where I can get the software for an HP Latex 360?

Above, is annoyingly correct. I've tried to clone an L260 hard drive onto another ordinary HD of the same capacity, make, and date. No go.
  8. Need Help Adding LEDs to laser cut acrylic letters

The Chinese factories make lots of LEDs. Then they test them. The good ones get labelled, branded, and sold as the quality item, and decent sign suppliers carry them. The 'failures', the ones not up to standard, look the same, but get sold on ebay & amazon , unbranded, to people who don't know...
  9. Old Screens

If you're stuck with stubborn emulsion, caustic soda works - just watch you don't burn yourself - it's strong stinging stuff, and PPE is necessary.
  10. Gorgeous lettering - is it a font?

Looks near-enough like a hand-modded adaptation of it. There are enough glyphs & alternates that you can chop, tweak, and weld as required.
  11. Gorgeous lettering - is it a font?

That's Charles OdB's Desire. It was about $100 usd when i bought it a few years ago. It's well worth supporting Charles & buying it- he's a great bloke!
  12. Can I share the Onyx 12.0 version lip program installation file?

(You'll also need the L360 Pr.inst file, if someone has it.)
  13. weird issue

I always calculate load, and use a PSU of almost double the capacity.
  14. HP L28500 Large format printer Issues..

Download the service manual? Or try the L26500 service manual - 680 pages.
  15. HP L26500 printer belt change

yes, that's them... old age gets in the way sometimes!
  16. HP L26500 printer belt change

Good luck. Of course you'll need 2 different sizes of those annoying hex screwdriver/allen key things, to get all the screws out.
  17. HP L26500 printer belt change

No worries - but treat the encoder strip like a valuable jewel made of fragile glass, and worth more than the belt you're replacing! The tiniest sproing & slip and a minute kink, and the speedy head will vibrate the encoder strip into oblivion as it tries to boot up.
  18. HP L26500 printer belt change

I've done it 3 times on the 260. Google the service manual. It's a 680 page download. It's very good. Finding all the screws you need to undo to get the right end off is a challenge the first time- there are only about 7, but 1 or 2 are inside the front window. Carefully remove the display...
  19. Brass

1mm...? we use only 3mm, and keep a sheet or two of the 2000 x 600 size engraver's brass on hand. My experience with thinner stuff is the headaches & gremlins that sneak in are not worth the minor substrate cost saving- besides a plaque in real brass, as opposed to gold-coloured aluminium...
  20. Need Help Onyx Postershop 12.2 exe file / download

Thanks- that worked - the 2nd file contained only one DLL file though - is that correct?
