3M IJ180mC-114 is a clear wrap vinyl with Comply. I think if you just do laminate it would have to be wet application.

Standard vinyl combos work just fine in Ontario, we use IJ35 and haven't had any issues.

I learned using 3M almost exclusively for a while, can't say I wish I started with anything else. Eventually you have to learn to work with everything.

On a wall? We typically use IJ40 wherever we can indoors.

Yea, we always test first. You could try printing the colours or laminate the coloured film onto something with a more aggressive adhesive and then run it through your cutter.

I usually leave the handles and remove the emblems. Put them back on after or give to the customer depending on what they want.

Use gradient meshes. You'll have to play with them a bit. Put points all around the edge of the picture and sample the color at the point in the picture that it is touching for each point.

Have you tried 600dpi? Is the text vector or rastered?

Ive only ever had that part separate from head strikes or just age. My guess is that it started separating without any ink build-up and it just got worse as ink got underneath the strip. Typically when I see this type of thing, the head is bust.

That's pretty typical, we've had the printer for around 4 years, had it done once and are at 58% with the new one. We have the tech do it, I may look into doing it myself since I've been swapping heaters and sensors out myself to save some money.
