So no one has had this issue after replacing a station?!!! The nozzles that go out, come and go and are now just on the black channel and are at the nozzles furthest in. Would changing the wiper for another help? When it cleans it pulls ink through no problem and seems to be working fine. SC

Yes I agree the nozzles are not helping your issues. But I reckon you have an issue with the encoder disk because it is not constant and looks like it reappears in the same area. Our Valuejet does this from time to time and it is because the disk is warped and the sensor is touching the disk...

The board price is about right. The tech fee is ridiculous unless you are in the jungle or rainforest! Takes about 30 minutes to change the board and maybe another 30 minutes to set it up. SC

I realise this may be a very stupid question. I am on with replacing my Maintenance station (complete with pump assembly) on my VJ1604. Do I have to power the machine down and discharge as I will have to disconnect the pump motor? Or can this be done whilst the machine is still on? Thanks SC

You have asked the million dollar question that has/has not ever been answered. Way too many variables to answer this question. Do you have a good test print (good place to start) if any nozzles are blocked you will never get a good print. I run a Valuejet 1604 so can maybe help. SC
