  1. Remove Jewelite trim cap

Just throwing this out there: Depending on the age of the faces and the quality of cement that was used, it's not unheard of for the letter to break before the trimcap breaks free. Weld-On and Lord adhesives (and others) chemically weld the two pieces, so the trim cap isn't necessarily the weak...
  2. what is best way to attach coroplast to a brick wall?

I agree that the preferred method would be a mechanical fastener. I suggested silicone because the OP specifically asked if there was an adhesive that would work. While silicone wouldn't be my preferred method, you can still use it and not make a huge mess of the brick. VHB tape holds quite well...
  3. Cindy

Welcome. My family lived in Corfu for a short time. Is the Grizzly still up and running at Darien Lake?
  4. what is best way to attach coroplast to a brick wall?

The 3M double-sided tape from Home Depot along with silicone. Tape the signs in place until the silicone cures.
  5. Anyone using a good app to help with sign surveys?

I've tried My Measures and frankly have just wound up going back to detailing notes directly onto printed photographs and then scanning them in.
  6. Design a sign package AKA Sign Criteria

Typical reference: Sign Package: The actual physical signs being installed at a location. Sign criteria: The guidelines specifying allowable sizes, colors, types, etc.
  7. Kickstarter project you guys might be interested in...

It would be nice if it could give Pantone colors. Sounds like it can be modified, but not sure how that's done.
  8. Kickstarter project you guys might be interested in...

Glad some others will be able to use it. Looks like it just passed $65k, so they're adding a humidity sensor. Not sure what how that works or comes into play, but yay humidity sensor...We will now be able to sense humidity. And stuff.
  9. Soooo......

We need to start a Wall of Shame thread.
  10. Kickstarter project you guys might be interested in...

I backed this...I think it's a pretty good deal for $99 (+ $15 shipping to the US). This will come in pretty handy on surveys for raceway matches, etc. Figured a lot of you might be interested as well. click
  11. Embroidery questions...

Thank you all very much for the detailed responses, I really do appreciate you taking the time to explain things. It's an industry I (obviously) know nothing about and as suspected, there's a lot more that goes into it than I would have guessed. Royster, it looks like your "????" was answered...
  12. Embroidery questions...

Thank you for the response. Attached a larger version of my logo. Does it contain too many colors? Any parts that won't work for embroidering?
  13. Embroidery questions...

I have some shirts I purchased off Amazon....60% cotton, 40% polyester, fairly thin. I'm going to get my logo embroidered on them but don't have a clue what's needed for embroidering. I'm going to use a local shop, so they'll obviously know what's needed but I'd like to get a little educated...

  17. Trello calendar(s)?

I haven't searched a bit on here due to time. Just posting this while I have a minute. So I created a Trello account and really like the way it's set up...with one exception. On a mobile device (phone) it doesn't appear that Trello offers a calendar. Your only option is to sync items with due...
  18. Second surface adhesive pulling away from plexiglass

Not quite sure I'm exactly following your description, but it sounds like items you're adhering to the vinyl are coming loose. (?) If that's what's happening, it's likely the plasticizers in the vinyl. They can negatively affect adhesion of VHB tape and other adhesives.
  19. Recommended vendors for stop signs, loitering, smoking, etc...?

I've dealt with Sa-So for a while. Curious what other reputable vendors there are.... Thanks!
  20. Website pricing

Not sure what you're looking for, but mine was FAR less than any of the prices given. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. If you like mine, contact Phillip (neato).
