I swear Corel had a tool where you could draw a line, specify what dimension it was, and if you changed the length of that line, it would increase or decrease the dimension accordingly.
Anyway, I'll try the methods given - thank you!
Not sure where else to post this.
Can anyone recommend software (and the procedure) to obtain dimensions of an object if you know the dimensions of another object in the photo?
ie: I have a photo of a set of channel letters. I need to determine the approximate dimensions of the letters (HxW)...
That was my concern with the pins - they look kind of light weight. They're pretty adamant about not having a visible means of attachment though, so the pins may be the only option.
Yeah, I found them for around $1 a piece, but if you can find out your source, that would be great. Thank you...
Some cubicle walls are solid core and adhering nameplates with VHB tape works pretty well. Some are a hollow core with perimeter framing which allows the fabric to be pushed in....which in turn doesn't work well with pressure sensitive VHB tape.
Does anyone know of a supplier/product that would...
I would use this or this.

Not sure how what shape the foam is...
Understood...but the issue with that method is you might pound the rebar down, not hit anything, but there's a huge rock (or rocks) an inch over that you're still going to hit when you start digging. If there's something uncertain (digging holes where you may hit rock, sprinkler lines, etc...
How do you survey for buried rock? Buried rock is just one of the unfortunate hiccups you might encounter when digging. That's why that kind of work can be quoted but with a clause included that such hiccups (rock, broken sprinkler lines, etc) will be dealt with on a T&M basis.
I charge a flat amount per mile if I'm just driving the truck and a larger flat amount per mile if I'm towing the lift or trailer. I calculate the mileage from my house to the job site and back to the house. I've been confronted with the "no one else gets paid to drive to work" line of...
If I'm understanding, the two 4'x8' faces would be attached to the single pole so they form a 8'x8' face? And that face would be 5' above grade? So the finished product would be 13' overall height? If so, your pier should be a little over 4' deep, which means your total support length would...
