  1. Credit card reader for Android Galaxy Tab 2?

Yep, that's the phone I have and it works fine. Not sure why it's not listed on the site...it may be that PayPal hasn't updated their site since the Note II was released. The readers are free, so it's worth giving it a shot even if your device isn't listed.
  2. Credit card reader for Android Galaxy Tab 2?

Samsung Galaxy Note II is the "full name". I'm on AT&T.
  3. Credit card reader for Android Galaxy Tab 2?

I use the PayPal reader with my Note II phone and have zero complaints. I don't need it often, but when I do, it's easy to use. It also has one of, if not the lowest, rates available. Add to that, a soon as you run the charge, it's in your PayPal account and you can immediately transfer it to...

You can download an apk file and watch flash on the Android Firefox browser (for free).
  6. tow behind boom lift

Nice work, Mike. What material and how is it attached?
  7. Well it's finally installed.

    Very nice sign....well done!
  8. tow behind boom lift

This is one of the coolest lifts I've used. I wish I owned one because it's an awesome tool. It'll fit through a 36" doorway. This is also one of the most nerve-racking installs I've done. The lift was on a slight incline and the bucket had to be swung out so it was over a 45'± drop.
  9. For those of you who spend time on construction sites...

    Free hard hat.
  10. tow behind boom lift

Yeah, if I were in the market, I would definitely opt for a bucket truck over a tow-behind lift. The trucks are just easier to maneuver. But then there are times when a tow-behind lift can be maneuvered by hand into spots a truck can't get. I'd still opt for the truck though.
  11. Edge Lit Sign Help

I just happen to have a few old pictures from my previous place of employment.... The first picture barely shows an edge-lit sign next to my stretch-wrapped desk that was waiting for me after I got back from vacation. The other two pictures show an edge-lit acrylic panel (edit: just realized...
  12. tow behind boom lift

Anywhere from $200-$300 out the door, which includes a 10% damage waiver and tax. Just depends where you get it from. I typically use Taylor Rental because they take care of their equipment, they allow me to reserve it, their equipment is the best I've used, and their customer service is superb...
  13. Edge Lit Sign Help

The etched/lighted portion is still very easy to read. Not sure if that answers your question.
  14. tow behind boom lift

I use this one about twice a month. I've used others, but this is by far the nicest one. The straight boom has some limitations...the articulating will get you into (and over) more areas.
  15. Formed Acrylic Letters

You would need to do some math to determine the needed thickness, but you would have to start off with 1½" ($$$$$$$$) or possibly thicker ($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$) acrylic. From there, the only way I can think to achieve the curvature is to build some jigs (time/$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$) and use a...
  16. Formed Acrylic Letters

Your design shows squared off faces and backs, but it sounds like you're wanting 1" thick acrylic with convex faces and concave backs and the backs have the same curvature as the acrylic panel...?
  17. Formed Acrylic Letters

If I'm understanding: The wall has an 18' radius and they want the letters to basically have curved fronts and backs to match the radius of the wall? If so, I bet they stop demanding uniform thickness once they see the price. An 18' radius is fairly large, can you not just stud-mount standard...
  18. Tx State House Bill 1352 & Tx State Senate Bill 803

Just to clarify: Anyone in Texas can obtain an Electrical Sign Contractor License, however the person/business obtaining that license has to have a Master Sign Electrician willing to assign their license to them. They are allowed to assign their number to only one company, however he can...
  19. Edge Lit Sign Help

My guess is you're using extruded acrylic rather than cast. You might want to try an LED with a wider cone as well.
