ugh....I understand the need for it but I hate paying the premium. Mine is a bit over $2500 per year. I forget who it's through. I try to forget about it all together.
Forgot to mention...after hanging the above, I hung numerous other panels for the same customer.

If it's stud-mounted and installed with a good amount of silicone - someone is going to have have their work cut out trying to steal it. Any additional adhesive is great for extra measure (epoxy, etc.).
Gotchya...thank you for sharing. We'll see how it goes. I have a couple of other laptops (HP & Toshiba) that still function perfectly and I'll back my important info up to multiple sources in case anything does happen to the refurb'd Toshiba.
...this is a pretty good deal if anyone is in the market for a laptop.

I think your first concern needs to be what the customer is going to be pleased with.
"Black is black" isn't the case. Trans, opaque and blockout all give different effects.
If you use translucent or opaque vinyl, the face is going to look crappy (in my opinion) at night. Use a black blockout...

I would think with an acrylic enclosure, it would dust over really fast to the point where you could no longer see your work. I would definitely go with a dust collection system of some sort.
There are different ways to do this obviously.
I prefer the following method:
1.) Tape up your paper pattern.
2.) Determine the highest point of the wall (the portion that sticks out further than the rest) that falls within your pattern area.
3.) Draw a large circle (12" or so) on your...
