I saw a thread around here where glossy business cards were bashed. I never really thought about it but what is the thinking on matte vs. glossy business cards?
Here is the ATT ad:

So the State wants to put electronic ads on license plates. The city of Los Angeles has banned electronic billboards. Would this make all cars in LA illegal?

I need to get a wholesale supplier of printed banner flags with the poles, the curved type.
I went through the merchant member directory and came up with one supplier and I contacted that merchant member by phone message and email but never got a response. I prefer a California or West Coast...
The story is a little old but it is still going on. You have to go half way into the story to read about the calligraphy part. I did like the part about not being able to hire another billboard inspector but they can spend the money on the certificates.

Just reading a thread on some of the price shock some customers have and the complaints about low ball prices from some who have entered the sign business but whose fault is it really?
My number one complaint is that our vendors will sell to just about anyone. Anyone can buy a cutter, printer...
Not quite sure where to ask this but a web search turned up nothing. I am looking for blank car floor mats that I can embroider on. The rubber backing needs to be applied after if it has one.
TIA if anyone knows about these things.
Customer wants printing on an easyup nylon cover. I originally thought it was more of a canvas cover that I could use apparel vinyl on it but now that it is in the shop there is no way we can apply heat to it without damaging it.
Are there any materials that I can use to print on this thing?
Our front door to our shop is a steel frame with glass in the center. The door works fine if it is opened all the way or most of the way. The problem is if it is only opened a third of the way or less it slams shut, hitting the person coming in.
There is no external closer to the door.
Any...
I have supplied oracal 651 that was cut/layered/masked 4 years ago. I need to apply this to a magnet. Will this stuff be good to go? Is there anything that might cause problems with something that has been sitting around so long?
It looks pretty good except the mask is a little discolored.
I have a customer in a panic. She ordered steel travel cups and the printing is wrong. Can I remove the printing with acetone without damaging the finish? Is there anything else I can do to remove the ink?
My fallback is just to put vinyl over it with some design.
TIA
The sign is huge and the building owner put it up. This is a long running battle.

We have had a few of these and I am scratching my head on how they are getting in. These are the popups that say you have a virus, click here to fix and all hell breaks loose afterward.
Here is what I think so far. I have experience on 4 networks. On 2 of the networks we turn the router off...
