Sub it out to a qualified company and go watch and learn. Are you a licensed electrical sign contractor? It may not even be legal for you to touch it.

I use red EIFS tape. Expensive but works. Can be a red flag on lumber hanging off the back of truck in a hurry too. I also have done the coro trick in tough situations. Works great but you still need to tape it down.

I would re install software at that point. If that doesn't do it it's time for someone smarter than me to either fix it or finish breaking it.
