I had a similar problem, which was solved, by editing printer quicksets> advanced> and then going in to set the post script RIP engine to be JAWS, not adobe. Save, and reboot the system. Possibly it might help you

After umpteen head cleanings, I'm happy with the shades of red/orange/yellow that the L25500 is printing. Ditto with the blues. Here is the odd thing: I make a box in Corel - X3 or X5 - no difference, in CMKY. Fill it with Corel process blue straight off the color menu - which equals cyan...

Update: after 10 head cleanings of the k-Y heads, it's printing an 80% cleaner yellow in the top line, and reds, oranges, yellows & greens are much closer to PMS expectations than the muddy misses they'd been looking like before. Turning All ICC profiles on, was better than all profiles off...

Thanks - I simply downloaded a bunch of Onyx profiles for assorted media I had - or the next closest I could find. Eg Avery matt sav MPI 3021 or whatever it was, and others for banner material - Oracal permanent gloss polymeric. All print too dark for my liking and won't print a pure clean...

Yes, the various media profiles allow an option for auto-cut-off, or disable the cutter.

Despite a head cleaning, and head realignment, if I create a box of CMYK 0,0,100,0 (ie 100% yellow) and save it as a PDF from Corel Draw, then open it into Onyx Production House RIP, the yellow box prints with a dirty darker hue - not 100% yellow alone, but it seems to have murky black spots...

For what it's worth, I established it was a power supply failure. $250 for a new one, and 2 hours to remove the old one, about the same to put the new one in, and it's working again!

Failing any other options, I used the trial of Onyx Production House, and really liked it, but ended up buying an older version of Signlab Print & Cut. v.9.1 + dongle, which has drivers for the L25500

Thanks for the replies... there's alot you could do for diagnostics IF it would turn on. But it won't,now. To the best of my ability to diagnose it, the problem is the small PC based power supply - it must be fried. Luckily I have a few old PCs I can dissect for parts... but it;s tiresome job...
