it's at the farthest left edge of where 54" material would line up to. I will figure it has been going on for a very long time and has slowly built up in color.
I have one downstairs Gino ( the designer borrower) He took my dollar store 12" hot pink ruler!!! I love that thing for using on trucks...now it is gone!!!
Jv3 130spII - I even had a technician in this week and I forgot to ask him about this. The pic is showing the far end of the carriage ( left side) and you can see this ink spray of mostly yellow but something else as well.
I don't think it is of any danger or effecting print quality...
I don't know if it is my software that creates such a problem (signlab 8) but all too often when customers send me files in ai format they are just a pain to deal with and get cut. masking can be an issue in Signlab and sometimes I can break them and others I cant.

From your second picture it looks like something has gotten into the middle of the vinyl between the color and the clear on top. Looks just like that moldy look I had. I would think that this roll was defective as the top layer was not adhering properly. I am staying away from reflective...
In the picture it looks like I can actually see the blue of the car through the areas of damage. That's too weird. I have had issues years ago with a brand of reflective that had what looked like mould getting in through the top layer of clear and the colour. I believe that may have been caused...
I agree Scott. I bought a Sabre and if I were just using it to cut down sheets of vinyl it would be great, but for larger substrates, I found that, mine anyways, had an issue with lining up just exactly where it was going to cut. I also found that if the substrate is rather large like a 4 x 6 or...
I think I am going to start using this jetbest ink. Spoke to a fellow sign guy who has been using it for over 4 years with no complaints. I will go for the bulk version. My printer is now 7 years old and I am pretty anal about maintenance so hopefully it works well.
a cheat is a piece of vinyl cut out of both colours or more that all are in the exact same spot for quick laydown without having to measure and line up. You then remove the cheats. I do use magnets to hold the graphic in place before applying tape. Have to be careful as many finishes lately...
