all is good.... guy just told me it was painted in their own shop and knows it was not done professionally.... (although it looks good to me) doesn't care, although the glue is stuck in the paint and wont come off......
Regular customer brings me a Ford cargo van......easy job logos on doors and rear.
This logo I use cheats to line it up fast and I used 3m 2 ml vinyl.
Go to take the cheats off and a struggle starts and I can hardly get the vinyl off...breaking in small pieces, so I get out the heat gun...
Not sure what category this falls under.....
I have never understood how I get mailer daemons or whatever they are called when I am replying back to a customers e-mail. What exactly is going on that it bounces back? I usually send it again and it goes through.
I remember years ago someone had mentioned how you go about creating a swatch chart in Flexi so you can print it out... I was pretty sure it was memorized or written down, but I guess not...anyone remember?
Still need to deal with this, but today I got a little scare as I cleaned the heads and I also have a low magenta cartridge which seems to be taking too long to empty. In any case I started printing and only Magenta was produced. I stopped the printer and ran a print test and absolutely no cyan...
It's been about 2 months now that my cyan cap has not held cleaning fluid for a nozzle wash. I clean the capping station every morning and clean the heads every other day. Once a week nozzle wash. I see no issues with cyan print and wonder how dangerous it is to not get this attended to at this...
I can't say that I have experienced this although I have come in some mornings and found my mimaki stuck on after a sleep cycle and I think it had something to do with the wiper getting stuck or some such nonsense
I can't figure out if this is ligit or not. I guess best not to click the link.

I don't know that particular banner stand, but how does the graphic adhere to the upper bar? I use the Orbus Orients and they have 2 methods but the best method seems to be loosening all the allen screws and applying the graphic directly to the aluminum bar. These units also have a sliding...
I have sort of figured it out but still have no idea what causes it. I had other items from the designer on my screen so I decided to delte them and then try cutting again and it was instant.
I think that these files may have been made with old pdf files from the same customer and they just...
I have seen this before with files from different designers.... basically I go to cut the file and the cut screen freezes and sits there for nearly 40 seconds, then it's ready to go. I cant figure out what's in this file that has the software confused...anyone ever figure out what causes this?
Has anyone heard of convex vinyl...seems like a company that sells specialty vinyls for motocross etc... I am curious to know if they rebrand exisiting vinyl or do they actually mfgr their own line.
On small decals with very thin outlines your going to have uneven cuts no matter what. I am talking about 1 or 2" shapes with a 1/8" outline. leaves virtually no room for error with or without bleeds. I always warn customers that there are limits, and then they can make up there own minds...
When golfing down in Myrtle beach last year we played a course called Crow Creek and those little buggers would wait until you were putting on the green , then they would fly down and rummage through your cart for food. Was hilarious until he stole my sandwich....
