Looks to me like the white angled roof stuff was an add-on done because the original roof over the arcade leaked. If so, when it was built, the sign would have been easy to mount on the parapet wall. I agree that to put a sign up will require roof work after the sign is installed.

I don't think you'll get 2-3 years durability from a printed or sublimated flag. Flags like that could be sewn with appliques and would be the most durable.

We use an S70 with white ink. If Epson gives it a 6 month life, consider that an optimistic figure.

It's obviously a repellent coating. Best to find out from the owner what they had put on the windows.

It's probably the orange ink. It only lasts a few months outdoors compared to the other colors which last 3-5 years. Make profiles which only use the C, M, Y, K, Lc, Lm inks without using orange when you do outdoor signs.

I've never seen a double sided photo paper for large format. Is it made? Seems like that spec is intending something run on a color printer or copier with sheet stock.
