I think the VS with double cmyk would be the same profiles as my RF-640. There are only 9 profiles in Versaworks for this
printer- I am hoping there are more for the more popular VS? Thanks Gene
PS- I have been looking in their Profile Center- I have only found one so far. Their filters are...
I have 41x21 and 47x21 (outside of frames) frames and some clear material for transfer in a couple tacks which is several years old... not sure of
the goodness/usability. $100 plus actual shipping cost. Gene
I am setting up my RF-640 (print only- no contour cut). It prints the crop marks about .4" from the right edge of the vinyl- no matter what I do.
Is there a way to force the whole print (with the crop marks) over to the left side? Using 54" vinyl with a GX-500 cutter that needs the crop marks...
Just setting up a fresh one with Triangle RXV ecosol ink. Vworks provides Generic Vinyl 1 and 1 HD; Gen Vinyl 2 and 2 HD;
Gen Banner 1 and 2; Gen Paper; Gen Backlit; and Gen Heat Transfer Profiles.
Has anyone found any other profiles for this printer? Any idea what the HD designates on the...
I am setting up my RF now- VWorks has 4 generic vinyl profiles which actually look pretty good but I am getting very nice colors out
of the VP that it will eventually replace... and I will try to match to that. Looking at the Oracal site I find profiles for the VS printer with cmyk x2
ink...
We have used Estimate for a lot of years and I can no longer buy another seat or 2 for my version (before subscription days) it would seem and Mark
no longer responds to emails. I am handing over the shop to my daughter and a new partner and he is wondering if there is anything better...
So I have a TF640 sitting here in the box- just built the undercarriage and my old faithful VP is giving me a rash... jealousy maybe? Anyway it prints the
first reg marks fine and then the complete graphic and then starts the end reg marks and I get a scan motor error. Just changed the scan...
I bought a TF640 and am not using the winder- I have one of my own design that works
better for our workflow. I think they are about $2k? Would consider a grand... maybe. Gene
I am making a piece for the dash of my CTS caddy coupe... I got this far and carved it from HDU but it needs more work. I got this far with the 2 rail
sweep and a lot of tinkering with the vectors in Aspire. I have sketchup and exported as a .stl (at 200k triangles- probably too high?) and...
I have used Triangle for years and have had zero problems. They are saying they don't have a (mild solv) ink for this head. I
am wondering if anyone is using a bulk ink setup with this head and whose ink you are using. It looks to me like all of the
current Roland models use this head. I need...
This is a series of paint masks I made for a Stearman back in '02. At that time I assembled individual letters- does anyone know of a font
that is similar? Thanks Gene
This happens once in a while- prints normally but will stop for (approx) a second at each end and then print to the other end... and stop.
This is bi-directional by the way- any thoughts? Thanks Gene
Thanks Stacy- I reset my router and I can now log in. I thought is was strange that an outage would not be on FB. Gene:notworthy:
I haven't been able to log on for a week... I really miss it.
I am gearing up to replace my printer with a VS and have used Triangle inks for 10 years- my ink guy sez he has heard of 'micro-bubble' problems
with the single head machines. If you are going to post to tell me to use Roland ink... don't please. I get to do it my way and you are free to do it...
