i'm using a version of quickbooks from 1996, XP is the lastest windows version it will run on. needing to upgrade soon, not sure if i want to switch brands. looks like a great deal....
ink will never cure if it hasn't when it comes off the printer. latex doesn't work that way...
a heat gun will do the trick, but getting the profile working is obviously the way to go before you start printing tons of vinyl.
hiding simply means cheating, if your dumb enough to try it, sooner or later you will get stung.

i wouldn't use it. i made it a general practice to ignore the expiration date on ink and after a while it catches up with you. they put an expiration date on for a reason, shaking up the ink doesn't put it back together like it needs to be.

talking to a printer tech yesterday and he stated that flexi's RIP is using way too much ink, so us folk who are love/stuck with flexi will be tweaking a bit i guess......

i had this same problem with material i didn't have a profile for and was trying to use a similar HP profile for. it took me awhile, and i max'd out both heat setting and was still getting the greasy print.
i bumped up the airflow from 30% to 40% and the prints came out...
seems like too much of a pain in the ***. take them out of your empty cup, clean them, put them somewhere, loose them....
when the coffee's too hot, drop in a ice cube, when it's too cold, pop it in the micro....
neat idea, not practical....
