Drove by Menard's (think local big box store with lumber) and the parking lots were jammed to the edges. Oh well... my sweetie will not get her yarn winder made today- it's a surprise so she will not know. I have tried not to enter stores between TG and Xmas for at least the last 25 years. And...
I would not let it swing free- you will get rust forming where it moves on the eyes and the rust will run down the face. Tether it to keep from swinging.
Hi Joe (I know you from the 3dsignforum)- pretty HDuty for a hobbyist- do you intend to do scanning for hire? I would think
there is a market for that. Good luck Gene
Started this business 19 years ago after selling my bodyshop (got tired of insurance companies telling me what I could charge) - have never used anything but green 3m body tape- 3/4 and 1.5 inch. Used to get it at NAPA but from ABody supply is cheaper, and they deliver. Costs money to make money...
Thank you gentlemen. I checked my Johnson catalog but they also have a JRS catalog and there were 3/4 x 10 extrusions
in that that look correct. Gene :notworthy:
A (good) customer sent me this pict- looks like someone stacked 3/4 x 6 holders but I can't find those either. Anyone have
a source they can share? Thanks Gene

carriage to tilt forward.

expect my recycling to make any amount of difference to my life... it certainly is not a bad thing (I have a child and a grandchild to whom it may make a difference). Bob is...
Years ago I did boat registration numbers for an old duffer (he was probably younger than I am now  ) and he
insisted that the reg had to read from the bow. I could not change his mind so that is the way we made them. Always wondered what the DNR officer that stopped him said about...
This machine is 15 years old and has about 5 hours of heat time on it. It seems to correspond roughly to the current DK16 model
(http://www.heatpress.com/product.php?pn=9). I am looking for $300. It is heavy and would be a pain to ship so prefer local
pickup. I will throw in the thermal...
thanks- I have a post on there and CNCzone as well- nothing yet.
I just noticed my Kevin McCarthy moment in the original post... 'cannot find almost nothing' AAARGH
I am importing a Chicom laser and it is spec-ed out with LaserCut 6.1... but I cannot find almost nothing about 6.1
and it seems to have a different control board from 5.3- so not backward compatible. Anyone with knowledge to share?
Thanks Gene
Will stick to almost anything but expect shrinkage.
Specs are interesting- never looked before- 3.5 mil premium vinyl
