Hello - I have the Master MVT-500 Laminator (the one with the electric up and down switch).
I almost exclusively us this machine with 30" material, but I recently had a job where I had to run a bunch of 54" wide.
Material is 3M IJ35 C with Arlon 3420 Laminate.
About 3-4 months ago I used this...
Hello - I recently had problems with my equipment and ruined a bunch of prints.
I am looking for someone that can print and laminate approx 20 4'x'8' prints for me.
I also have a few 5'x'8' and 44" x 8' as well.
Material would be IJ35 or something equivalent laminated with whatever is suited...
UPS has lost my shipment and I need to print a graduation banner for my son's party (tomorrow).
Is there anyone within driving distance of Mishawaka, Indiana that can either sell me a Mutoh 220ML Black cartridge or print a banner for me?
Or are there any suppliers within driving distance?
Thanks!
Hello. I have been having a couple of problems with flexi 10.5 printing to a Mutoh Value Jet 1324
The 1st problems happens all the time and it seems that when I use a gradient fill - in this example, I have 100% Violet C fading to White.
The problem is - the shade is way off than if I just...
I was thinking of purchasing the USTECH MVT-500 laminator and placing it between 2 8' shop tables that are lined up even with the rollers.
My thought is that this may be used as a budget flatbed system of sorts since it has electric roll lift and also forward and reverse.
I realize that it is...
Anyone here print or know of a wholesaler that prints on plastic cups?
I have a customer looking for 2 color logo on approx 6 ounce plastic cups.
Thanks!

Hello - I purchased this complete Maintenance station from Digiprint before realizing that my head was bad in my Mutoh 1204.
It was only installed for half of a day because I re-installed the old one before trading it in on my new printer.
Here is the link to the one I have...
I switched to the oracal 720x1440 like suggested in the last post and that seemed to do the trick.
Prints look much better and the colors are much more vivid and solid. I'll be doing more experimenting, but looks like I'm on the right track!
Thanks for the help everyone - I really appreciate it!
Thanks for the reply - Do you have a specific profile that you can suggest or should I just stick with the Oracal and go with the 720x1440 (I ask because you said you didn't really like the Oracal profiles).
I tried the 3M, but the Oracal looked slightly better.
Thanks again!
I'm sorry - I forgot to mention that I no longer have the 1204.
I do have several samples that I have printed from it that I am using as comparison.
Thanks!
I upped the heat and it did seem to help with the fisheye a bit, but the black is still slightly off.
Not nearly as much of a dense, pure black I used to get out of my 1204.
It also seemed to bring out some slight banding.
Just purchased a new Mutoh 1324 from Sign Specialists (great people to work with - by the way).
I have it set up and running, but the prints are not as good as my old 1204.
Here is the rundown...
Same exact file with no changes to the colors, same material - 3M IJ35 Gloss.
New printer...
Hello - I just purchased a new printer (Mutoh 1324) and it is not supported in my current version of FlexiSign (8.5).
It did come with the Mutoh Version of of FlexiPRINT SE.
I do not really design much in Flexi. I used it more for adding a contour cutline and outputting to my old Mutoh...
Machine is approx 4 years old and has worked flawlessly up until about 2 weeks ago when I noticed solid black was not quite as black as before.
Did a nozzle check and noticed that 1 of the 2 black "blocks" of nozzles were approx 75% gone (the other "block" of black was near perfect).
Al other...
