I was wondering how wide the junior prints in each pass of the printhead. When I do a nozzle check - it prints approx ½" thick band in each pass, but when I print from my rip (flexi 7.6) it seems that it only prints approx .125" in each pass. Is this normal - if not what should I check? I...

Update - It just hapened again & after looking a bit closer - I realized that the machine is trying to advance the vinyl (the roller is moving) but the vinyl is slipping - causing it to stay in place. Should I replace the grit roller? Is this common? Thanks again. Mike

Thanks for the info... Gem seems to be a copy of Serpentine - that was my first thought, but it is not the same font. Notice the letters a, e & d are a bit more round in the sameple than the letters using serpentine (gem bold). Thanks for the help! Mike

You really need to understand (as mentioned earlier) that they are on 2 different sides of the spectrum. Both printers are great for their intended purpose. Both will also work to do jobs outside of their intended purpose, but you will have limited results. I actually have a brand new Encad...
