    Hi Signtek and welcome to Signs 101. If you do some searches here you will find that I am pretty sure you can't touch the signs.. I am not sure about the UK, but I do know that in the USA and Australia it is definately a no go zone. You could end up in big trouble if it was proved you touched...

    I played golf with friends today who had rellies come out from Canada. -33 degrees celsius when they left...Arrived in Brisbane queensland, +33 degrees celsius. Sounds nice but add in the humidity and the drought and bush fire danger and it is not.

    You may want to look at your scanner settings too because a bad bitmap will only produse a bad accuscan. Scan the design at a higher DPI. and make for a larger bitmap too and when you accuscan go fo less points.
