  1. Cutting Mutiple Decals at one time

This- we bought a Chinese 12" guillotine for about $300 that will cut 30-40-50 at a time easily. Weighs a ton. The long table on the left folds down to take 6' stacks of stapled strips.
  2. Gun threads

I own C96 carbine- I believe it is called a stripper clip.
  3. Panel Saw?

Safety Speed all the way. Fast, safe and trouble free. I think we paid about 3k for a 72" saw and anyone can cut with it...
  4. Quick Books Enterprise

+1 for bly. We had our cpa set it up- we do all the entry and she comes in quarterly to be sure no one is going to the slammer.
  5. Roland archives- plugin needed

I am 'trapped' in San Diego for 10 days with a Android tablet and a new Win 8 RT tablet that I am not very proficient with. I have time to catch up on the archives but neither tab will play them- plugins needed. Does anyone know what is required? thanks Gene
  6. IR heater

What I bought was the heater without the stand (this would be to add a second heater to an existing heater with the stand)- seems like it was about a thousand- give or take. Has made a great improvement to our production.
  7. IR heater

I wouldn't say I made this IR heater- it is a BBC- but it works good. http://www.signs101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96426

    thank you Sir.
  9. LIMAC from China

Have you considered partnering with a US company for distribution? China is a big scary place (for us) and sending our dollars to China is a huge leap of faith. That said- we will be buying in the spring. Gene
  10. ACP from China

We stock 50 sheets and for those prices I would stock 100.
  11. Best print and cut printer?

VP540/GX500 combo here- I have done 16' logos and the cuts are nice and right on. I can't tell you how much our thru-put has increased between the IR dryer and separate cutter. Rolands also thrive on minimal maintenance.
  12. Anyone know where the Vworks config file is?

Had a VW breakdown and had to re initialize and have been slowly getting back to my former setup and life over 3-4 days. Arghhh.
  13. R-Tape 4761RLA- anyone seen it?

I saw it in one of the trade mags and tried to get a sample -it is for masking air release vinyl- they only sell it by the skid- to selected customers. I for one need this product- we sell a *lot* of cut air release because it is easy for customers to apply- and we have to tape the corners so...
  14. Vworks asking for dongle?

I got this from Roland at 4:06 (6:06 central time): Try updating Roland Versa work. You can update roland versa work by click on start programs, Roland Versa work, then on line updater. If after you updated Roland Versa work and still having issue, you would need to uninstall and reinstall...
  15. Vworks asking for dongle?

I rebooted my rip computer and now VW won't open- it gets stuck at 'loading device information'. I have been searching the net and Roland site and I *think* maybe the printer LAN address changed or something similar. Has anyone run into this? I have a service request in to Roland as well...
  16. Good Bye

Just when we had him 'socialized' too.
  17. Looks like hiring time has come.

I am a big believer in this- there are many ways to make a (whatever) and I certainly don't always come up with the best/most efficient solution. I always stress that I welcome opinions... but the bottom line is that someone has to make the final decision, and that has to be me.
  18. Sign companies raping other sign companies

My Sweetie is *nuts* about B Bad. I would be OK with looking like Walter.
  19. tipping UPS or fed/Ex driver for holidays

I thought this was a new fad like 'tipping cows'?
