Take a small digital camera with you EVERYWHERE. Start with the supermarket and go up and down the aisles. Take a photo of EVERYTHING that "appeals" to you and what you feel would make a good / great sign. Keep these in a file on your computer.

Dont forget... depending on the thickness of the glass, if the tint is applied to the inside and graphics to the outside, it ( the graphics ) may very well cast its own natural shadow.

Once you ARE satisfied that all the "moisture" has dried and is flat, make sure you put another coat on. Preferably rolled. If the bubbles have gone down, this may mean that there is a fracture or pin hole in the existing paint. Seal it with a new top coat.

Sometimes... when substrates dont "match" it is far better "glueing" the fastening mechanism together. Try looking beyond the two substrates to what will adhere to each of the substrates... then "glue" the fasteners together.
I know here in Oz that PVC will not glue to polyurethanes. But PVC...
