Here's a third-party vendor link with all the specs for SignLab Cut Pro. Click on the "Specifications" tab when you arrive at this page: http://www.specialty-graphics.com/signlab_9_signmaking_software_by_cadlink.html From all indications, it appears this program will work for you, BUT call...

It may be...I belive it was SignCut that was a stand alone program. As mentioned before, they work well for vinyl but for heavy (20-45 mil) rubber stencil, they had some limtations. JB

I run a Gerber GS 15. They're fairly straight forward and simple to run. Gerbers utilize an open artitecture which means you can use other vendors' software. At the "top end" you can use SignLab, Flexi...or go for the gusto with Omega. These are the "top 3" and are not cheap, but are highly...
  5. Cutting a roll of vinyl

I've been down this road a time or two when cutting rolls of mylar backed hot stamping foil. Analyze the mechanical workings of the slitter. The roll of material is turning, and so is the cutting blade (freewheeling against the vinyl much like an Olfa rotary cutter). This is why slitters...
  6. What Hammer Drill do I Buy

    You'll likey likey. JB
  7. Ever seen one of these?

As a tool and die maker in a former life, I absolutely love stuff like this. Back then, people relied a lot more on their ingenuity than a computer to design stuff. And so....I went to eBay to see what they're selling for....I might as well buy a new plotter. JB
  8. What Hammer Drill do I Buy

The rotary hammer bits are built totally different. They hit harder, get the work done faser and last a lot longer than regular masonry bits (heavier and thicker carbide) and are less expensive in the long run. I have a small DeWalt rotary hammer I found at a pawn shop for $45. I use it...
  9. What Hammer Drill do I Buy

Get a rotary hammer...there's a huge difference. They utilize a spline drive (not your typical drill chuck) and pack a lot more whollop than a hammer drill. Ditto on the 120 v. This describes the differences: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hammer_drill JB
  10. Working procedure requirements

Yep...we took it one step further and removed the seat from the toilet. Cold procelain is a very productive timesaver. (Just kidding...but I know a guy who might) Actually, I'd take a "wait and see" approach and be honest with the employees that it's a trial basis, and whichever method...

  16. Security slits

Something squiggly, and difficult to re-align....better yet, perhaps a series of squiggly lines. Before the days of bar codes, merchandise used to have price tags with a criss-cross pattern that was intended to thwart tag swapping. JB
  17. Gonna make one of these this week...

Ditto...I was going to adjust the angle, but yes...he's bending down way too low...and walking way too close to those boards with the nails sticking up...what a doofus. JB
  18. Gonna make one of these this week...

I'm heating both, and also have a smaller stove in the kitchen area that helps with the downstairs. My shop is an enclosed two car garage, aprox. 30' x 30', and the upstairs is approx. 1500 square feet. It's vented via a double-wall 6" stainless chimney up through the garage ceiling, the...

Signs of the Times is free, but it deals more with more of the bigger commerical applications...still a good read though. JB
