Get some from Amazon and compare the quality. Check the outside diameter of the pen body carefully with a micrometer in the millimeter (mm) size for fitment. I also bought some from Ebay that worked well for me in my old antique Roland PNC-950.

LOL - Gino, he is not a sign painter. I doubt very seriously that "gilding" is in his skill set. Maybe white or cream colored paint would look jam up (for a few more years).

Yikes is putting it mildly. I second White Haus's remarks. It may be past saving, economically. But, for the time you have put into it, and you want to get a few more years out of it, I suggest just plain, high-quality latex or acrylic house paint. Don't over think it with the paint. Wash well...

"Stencil" ??? For what? Painting, glass etching, sandblasting, ??? How many times do you expect to use it?

I call it a DIY project: Build yourself a custom wood cabinet to your specs. If you don't have the expertise or tools to build a wooden cabinet, design it and farm it out to one of the companies that you feel comfortable with their skills.

Well, just out of curiosity, did you meet your project's deadline?

What size sign?? Internal or external illumination? What are your "realistic" expectations of the lighting?

Another thought on what Kat touched on about providing "your" shop drawings. Do you have this clause in your Estimate/Proposal contract?

That is not the most "upscale" business. . . . ANYthing would be an improvement. Put the directory in vinyl lettering on the left door and change it when the tenants change. (job security). And, a nice new spiffy Hours of Operation on the right side door.

Eliminate the "space" and have the HDU sit directly on top of the brick structure. (sign?). If done correctly, it will look just fine. PHOTOS of your project would always be most helpful.

Kevin - could you please post some photos ?? From your brief intro, I'm guessing you aren't a sign shop? OR - you are a sign shop that doesn't do painting? What makes you think the "sign professional" didn't use the correct methods or materials ?? If your sign was "RE-Painted" several years ago...
