Ever heard of water transfer printing? I hadn't until recently and this is so cool! Looks like it's mainly used on car and motorcycle parts (wheels, fenders, etc.). Here's a quick video. There's lots more on Youtube; I just picked this one to post because it's short and to the point...
I hope someone here can help me. I have an old Graphtec CE1000-60 and cannot get it to communicate with my computer. Here's what I have: A laptop with Windows 7 and Illustrator CS5. An old desktop with Windows XP and Illustrator CS2. I have the original serial cable for the plotter, a parallel...
I'm redrawing a logo and they want the gradients like this. Is there a not-so-difficult way to do this in Illustrator? Maybe gradient mesh? Or do you think this was originally done in Photoshop?
A customer sent a .cdr file but I can't open it in Illy CS5. I think someone sent the file to her because I've asked her to save it as an .eps and she has no idea what I'm talking about. And it takes 2 days for her to reply to emails. I thought it would be easier and faster to ask for some help...
Let's say I have a 1.5" pole - what size should that pole sleeve be when it's flat? I'm thinking that 3" would be good but I suck at math and would really like to hear from you guys. I also think I'm taking something that's probably pretty simple and WAY overthinking it!

I think this has potential but not...
I have 10 files (.tif) that range from about 74mb to about 115mb each. I need to print thumbnails of them all on 1, 8.5"x11" paper. (It's for our printing dept so they can see what they're supposed to be printing.) Is there an easy way to do this? I could open each one and resize them but that...
Does this look familiar to you, too? Or parts of it, at least? I *may* need to recreate it and it seems like I've seen the leaves and the banner before but I can't find it. Anyone recognize it and know where I might find it?
I know this, I know this...
I guess all my font id skills fell out of my brain while I was unemployed. Or maybe being on a new computer with different (and not many) fonts is making it difficult. In any event, who can tell me what this is? Thanks!
