When I had my HP FB500 I used INX international ink. The red was much more vibrant and saved me 25% over OEM ink. Used the ink for many years with little issue
I don't buy foamboard anymore because of the warping. I spend the extra money for ultraboard with styrene faces. I order a carton at a time and leave them on a pallet rack.
For liability issues I will not sell a mesh printed banner even if it is finished properly. I have seen during heavy winds it falls down onto incoming traffic. I sell the open net banner which have the graphics sewn into the banner. I get these from Dixie Flag. Have never had issues with them.
Grimco is a joke. I used to buy 18" x 24" .080 reflective speed limit signs for $30/ea. pre pandemic. Now they are $97/ea. I'm having to bring those signs back in house now.
We just got an order for 5000 round decals. Subbed out to Stouse and tripled our money without having to touch it. If you are not busy I could see keeping it in house.
The Multicam is a great machine and served us well. The Kongsberg is a much faster machine for the applications we are using it for. Kongsberg has better hold down for routing smaller pieces and the knife tool is significantly faster.
We use the SLX + 3220 lam and never had any issues. We always post heat. I also like to keep the vehicle in my shop overnight after it has been wrapped so it can acclimate to the environment. Also gives us a chance to correct any liftups overnight. With extreme weather I think this would help.
