Why would you try to seam these. Who knows if the cement will effect the ink. Also seaming with banner tape would not look good. Just sub it out to B2sign at $1.10/ft.
I upgraded from a Multicam 3000 router and needed something with faster soft cutting and roll capability. I looked at the Kongsberg X24 and a Zund and picked the Kongsberg as it was significantly cheaper and felt the quality is just as good. My personal opinion is the X24 is a step above...
I have had a Kongsberg X24 since December and love it. Use it for everything to cut rolls of banners and decals along with router cutting. Make sure to get the heavy duty spindle if you do a lot of router cutting.
We are currently dealing with this issue. Dealer has replaced cyan head along with damper and still having issues. Happens when we do a full solid color blue print at least 50" wide. If the prints are 24" wide or smaller then there are no issues. Everything else is fine but only with solid...
We use ShopVox and when the job gets entered we list each department and machine it will go to. Each employee logs in and out when the job is at their station. This works well when customers call asking about jobs we know exactly where it is at. We can also highlight rush jobs and move them...
I previously owned a XC-540 and have had a TruVis VG2 for almost 2 years. It runs everyday without any issues. I would reach out to Mike Renna to see if he can help you. mrenna@rolanddga.com
I also own a RSC-1401 and it's a been a great laminator. Every couple of years the wheels get out of wack and I have service come to fix it. I don't pay attention to what they do. Call Bell & Howell 1-800-792-4782
Even ordering perfect cut 4'x8' Matraplast is not square. For double sided applications we cut out to 4'x8' on the Kongsberg then print and go back to cut out.
I just bought a 3' x 5' magnetic dry erase board from amazon. When it came in did a digital print and laminated with dry erase and mounted it to the board. I'm not sure if they have 4' x 6'
INX worked great. There were probably 4 sign shops near me who I knew were using it without any issues. It’s much better color fidelity than HP at a cheaper price. No brainer for me.
